Emissions indicators should be zero according to @hallegatte @worldbank. To get there: preserve ecosystems, improve agricultural productivity, reduce food waste, use water efficiently, have healthier diets #WBGMeetings #VoicesForClimate
Production capacity and IP waivers are important issues in getting #Vaccines4All, thank you for your perspective Dr. @oliverkams during the @worldbank #AnnualMeetings2021
Replying to @DCMaggie @NOIweala
Commitment by most African countries to rump up vaccinations is there, but vaccines ain't readily available. I further agree with Tedros on the IP waiver, we need to use it to insure there is adequate production of vaccines. Otherwise, COVID won't end.
Important perspective from an African doctor on #Vaccines4All
Replying to @DCMaggie @NOIweala
I strongly agree with her submission. Being a Medical doctor in a LMIC, it's very frustrating and equally disappointing that we have only done less that 7% of vaccination on the African continent. My country in particular is under 3%.
#Vaccines4All 3 recs: Increase spending in health systems (1% of GDP extra), create a global health fund, create a global health advisory board for future pandemic preparedness, says @NOIweala live.worldbank.org/ending-th…

Only 4% of people developing countries have received the COVID19 vaccine. Vaccine financing, distribution, proper medical supplies -- and more clear delivery dates according to @DavidMalpassWBG -- will help get #Vaccines4All live.worldbank.org/ending-th… via @WorldBank
Always enjoy hearing @SvonFriedeburg speak about tech and private sector innovation in development, especially for #Vaccines4All and ending this pandemic. Great interview @PaulNBlake #WBGMeetings @worldbank
