Today’s weather has been rather nice, but it’s the calm before the storm. Hopefully it won’t be as bad as they say, but just need to stay safe & warm over next few days

We shot the aftermath first. Then redressed everything to shoot the 'before times' after. The ace steadicam operator was Paul Edwards. It was the first day of the shoot on the film too!

SHAUN OF THE DEAD (2004) uses the exact same walk before and after the zombie outbreak, turning an ordinary morning routine into a brilliant visual joke. The attention to detail is unreal.

Have succumbed to heaters being turned on, both bedroom, & main room. Also drinking Vimto ‘super-fuel’ with boiled water, so hot Vimto! There’s a definite change in weather this week, with a big storm due Thursday apparently
