Young people have made the long journey from Scotland to spend this week in Wales, either by the sea at our Aberdyfi centre or nestled between mountain ranges at Ogwen Cottage.
It’s a considerable trek, but our Welsh centres are worth the road trip. Here's why...🧵⬇

I feel as the mental health endemic in young people across the UK worsens, the Senedd’s decision to kick this bill into the long grass will look even worse in the future. Sure it’s isn’t cheap, but it will be paid for later, with interest #LetUsOut!
Back on old stomping ground in #Birmingham today! Thanks to @AstonUniversity & the @AstonAlumni Club for allowing me to host a team meeting!
Take a bow, colleagues!
Last week our team attended the @OutwardBoundUK staff conference in Ullswater.
We thought it'd be a bit of an adventure to cycle there, and were joined by a few instructors from Loch Eil & Ullswater too!
This is sensational! Congrats to the intrepid explorers from @Walsall_Academy 🏔
Massive well done to these adventurers from @Walsall_Academy - to see them holding our flag at Everest base camp is truly inspiring! 🏔

Great news. The MSLFL Award is an incredible project delivered by @OutwardBoundUK, born from a tragic sectarian attack, to help young people across communities in Scotland. Well done @PFOKane. The aim must be for multi year funding! 🏴
Today I asked the First Minister if he would reinstate core funding to @OutwardBoundUK to continue the Mark Scott Leadership for Life Award.
I welcome his reversal of the cut for this fantastic, life changing award. A great result for young people.
