Excellent choice! “LT” has been a significant part of Ohio Bobcat Basketball since his arrival in Athens. @OhioMBasketball @OhioSP @LamarThornton__
Congratulations to @LamarThornton__ of @OhioMBasketball on being part of the 2026-2027
Hoop Herald 35
Thornton has been the right hand man for Jeff Boals for a while and was a big part of the early development of guys like Jason Preston and Mark Sears

Perfect timing for the start of the ‘26-27 season. Will be a good read I am sure. Well done Fran!
There are a ton of coaching stories & coaching lessons (I made a few mistakes) in Don’t Mess With Happy. Also, I give some insight on my friends, Tom Izzo, John , Bill Self, Jay Wright, Scott Drew, Tom Crean and Bob Huggins. Then, how my career began under Danny Nee, Billy Hahn, Rick Barnes & Gary Williams. Finally, how Dean Smith, Bob Knight, Hubie Brown, Norm Stewart, Joe B. Hall & my little league coach influenced me.
Game changer for the Bobcats. Experience-Leadership-Basketball IQ. All things every program can benefit from! @OhioMBasketball @OhioBobcats
Jackson Paveletzke (and 90+ others) are now granted a fifth year of eligibility, thanks to a preliminary injunction issued in Indiana state court on Wednesday.
The decision officially allows Paveletzke to return to @OhioMBasketball for another year.

Excited to announce my commitment to Ohio University! Go bobcats 🐾💚 @OhioMBasketball
Mike and I played our collegiate baseball together at Capital University. It didn’t take long to figure out he would become a terrific player…but you also knew his brilliant future as a Coach was just getting started.
Gahanna Lincoln Athletics would like to thank Coach Mike Shade for over 40 years of being a part of and leading the Lions Baseball program. Coach Shade is an icon, a legend, but more importantly, an incredible human being. It is up to us to carry on his legacy! #OnePRIDEOneFamily

31 years with the @OHSAASports ended today
with the retirement of one of the best people the organization has had, Bob Goldring, who called it a career today....proud to have worked with, and for,
him, and, more importantly, proud to call him a friend. All the best, Bob!!!
The “elite coverage” of high school sports will continue.!! Steve is the veteran in central Ohio.
Happy to announce that I’m joining the team at cbussports.com to cover high school sports in the fall. Thanks to @PressProsMag for an enjoyable 5 1/2-year post-retirement gig there.
Congratulations Marisa! Excited for you!!👏👏👏
I am so excited to finally share that I have joined @TheCincyCrown! I’ll be contributing as a co-host on Cincinnati’s ONLY morning sports show, @FirstWordCincy with @JamesRapien, every weekday morning from 7-11am!
Oh my! Question is —Are those Converse Chuck Taylor’s you are sporting?
One of the best gigs I've ever had.. spent the summer of '79 (or about 45 lbs ago) working for the @CLBClippers
Other guys watched BP, I watched the radio guys do pregame interviews, lol.
(Yeah, the glasses, I know)
Couldn’t agree more. Anytime Charlie was in the production truck for a basketball game you were guaranteed a superb show! @BobcatsStudios
My college basketball broadcast schedule during the season doesn’t allow me to listen in to @cavsalcorn @cavs broadcast @CavsAudioVerse but the quality and professionalism of Tim and Jim is always impressive. Let’s have a great playoff run.
A terrific addition to the Bobcat roster!! @OhioMBasketball @OhioBobcats

Great work Jason! Impressive!!
But ten years is a special mark, and we're going strong and loving every second of it. A decade-plus of buzzer-beaters, dunks, & crowd reactions. One thing that will never change: One Shining Moment.
Without further adieu, here's the 2025-26 version:
