Rez Vet just returned from our clinic in Whiteriver, Arizona on the Fort Apache Reservation. We can’t thank you enough for the support you give us. You're saving lives with us every month and we're beyond grateful for the gift of your partnership.

Cinder the Mule is brushing up on her ground rules! 🐴❤️ She’s getting ready for an exciting season working with @cvhorserescue Veterans Program.

It was a kitten filled summer at @AWLMC!Titus and Twiggy, Ninja, and their siblings were trapped by a local TNR group and came to AWLMC when they were only a few weeks old. Funds from DDAF are helping AWLMC pay for this essential vetcare, so Titus, Twiggy, and Ninja.

GCW Rescues fawns are growing up, and those adorable white spots are disappearing! These youngsters are the very first residents of our brand-new fawn rehabilitation enclosure, and the loss of their spots means they're about ready to head back to the wild where they belong!

Meet Dr. Sweet, a 10-year-old gentleman with a big heart and a second chance at finding his forever home! Dr. Sweet is FIV+ (as his magnificent jowls proudly announce), but that doesn’t define him or diminish his worth. DDAF's grant to RMFR's helps with his care.

Wero saved himself by approaching me when I was delivering dog food to one of Alma Rescue Partners. He kept zig zagging between my legs and when I looked down, his entire face was bloody & his eyeball was hanging out. He had surgery and eye removed. Now adopted into great home.

Elvis- @cvhorserescue newest pig rescue- is demonstrating his sitting technique. He is a joy to have at the rescue.

Meet Virgo. Virgo had recent dental and oral surgery thanks to a grant from DDAF. He is a senior resident of Sandy's Kitty Haven at C & WS Rustic Hollow Shelter and is well over 14 years old. He loves to nap in the catio and in the window perches.

After many of @SaveTheChimps more than 200 chimpanzee residents spent years, and in some cases decades, indoors before rescue, we are grateful to give them the opportunity to experience the beauty of sunrises and sunsets.

Nine years strong – and saving so many more than nine feline lives from all the potential risks, hunger, and suffering overpopulation outdoors brings – @HARPSavesLives -a-Thon” for community cats was once again a success!

“Hi everyone! I’m Wags!” My story started when @MediServiceDogs rescued me after my previous person could no longer provide the love and care I needed. I am now living with a veteran who lives with PTSD and we make a pretty great team.

Look who’s back home in time for fall! This Great Horned Owl came into Gold Country Wildlife Rescue's care after getting caught in a soccer net. After some care and rest, we’re happy to share that it’s back in the wild, healthy and strong!

Fall has finally arrived at @ChimpHaven, and Tequila’s group from the Treetop Ten could not be more excited. Group alpha, Buster, was a pro when the group moved back to their habitat after maintenance, and new play structure additions have been a welcome improvement!

Ted isn't just a pet. He is family. He is the one waiting at the door, curling up beside his person on the hardest of days. His owner is currently fighting cancer and putting everything they have into getting healthy. Kibble Cupboard is assisting with Ted's needs too.

Jennifer Morton didn’t plan on having three new cats but opened her heart to these beautiful kitties. Majik was a stray that unfortunately showed up pregnant at a friend's house. Spay Neuter Jackson County Alabama is beyond GRATEFUL to DDAF for the grant to help with s/n.

Rez Vet's team is home from our latest clinic in Ganado, Arizona. Being able to bring surgical offerings to clinics means more than spay and neuter services- it also means we’re able to do emergency and specialty surgeries. Total pets treated: 406

This adorable little Common Kingsnake came to Gold Country Wildlife Rescue after being caught by a domestic cat. And it wasn’t alone: this was actually the second snake in just one week to arrive after an encounter with an outdoor cat. The other was a Common Garter Snake.

Our team at Rez Vet was recently contacted by a friend in the Navajo Nation government shortly before we left for our September clinic to see if we could assist with an Elder who needs help. Thank you to Doris Day Animal Foundation for making care like this possible!

“Hi! My name is Sidney!” I’m a beautiful Golden Retriever/Pit Bull mix, and my story with @guardianangels@MediServiceDogs @guardianangels started when I was just 8 weeks old. Guardian Angels rescued me and brought me to their campus, where I was raised, loved, and trained.
