Ever wonder what makes an egg hard when you boil it, or why meat turns brown when you cook it? “Kitchen Chemistry” Scholars have got you covered! Here, they’re exploring capillary action by making water “walk.” It’s time to cook up some discovery - with chemistry!
The most exciting ticket to any show is the “Backstage Pass!” Behind the scenes, the Scholars are preparing stage scenery, props, and costuming for our broadway performance this week. The show must go on! 🎭

Come crack the code of computer programming with the Scholars of “Codezilla!” They’re using block-based programming to construct games and other creative projects. The future is now!
🎼 Lights, camera, action! “Give My Regards to Broadway” Scholars are experiencing the excitement of bringing a musical to life as they learn their music and memorize their lines. They’re ready to shine as the curtain goes up and the show goes on!
What do you do when it’s time for recess but it’s raining outside? Easy, just ask the Scholars in “Sportsplex!” They’ve adapted some iconic outdoor games for the indoor setting - including a home run derby! No more rainy days ruining the fun. ☔️
🏝️ It’s time for a vacation - but no need to pack your bags! The Scholars of “A Day at the Beach” are bringing the beach inside using creativity and critical thinking. Check out their sand castles - no sand required!
Houston, we have a food truck! Put your culinary talents and entrepreneurial skills to the test with the Scholars of “Food Truck Showdown” as they design a theme, logo, menu, and signature dish! Who can create the concept for Houston’s hottest new food truck?
🤖 Robots, assemble! Scholars in “LEGO Robotics” are exploring the worlds of science, technology, engineering, and math to construct and program their very own robots. What a display of critical and creative thinking!
This time on “The Rewind” … the 90s! During this blast from the past, Scholars created the infamous Nickelodeon slime. They experimented with varying amounts of each ingredient to see what recipe was best - totally rad!
