In 2007, Bill Clinton praised Abdul El-Sayed's commencement speech at the University of Michigan. AES told graduates the world needed their stories, their voices and their help for those less fortunate. He urged them to have β€œthe audacity to believe that we can change this world.” Good luck @AbdulElSayed πŸ‘

Obamacare was signed into law on March 23, 2010. It’s now 2026. Sixteen years of β€œrepeal and replace,” and we’re still waiting for that Republican promised better replacement to become law. You’ve had over a decade and a half to deliver

Arsenal just beat Liverpool 1–0 at Anfield, their first Premier League win at Liverpool’s home stadium in 14 years! That puts Arsenal on top of the league. Still a long season ahead, but that’s a massive win! πŸ”΄βšͺ️ #arsenal #PremierLeague #LFG

What I find even more amazing is watching Republicans and Democrats in the Senate, regardless of where they stand politically, still show up, ask questions, demand answers and try to figure out the truth. They may disagree completely, but they’re still open for business and doing the job they were elected to do. Then look at the House. Republican Thomas Massie introduced a resolution to impeach Pete Hegseth, and instead of letting members debate it and put their votes on the record, Speaker Mike Johnson sent the House home early for a seven week recess before the midterms. Johnson says it was time for members to campaign and called the Hegseth effort a stunt. Massie says they canceled Congress to avoid the vote. Either way, the result is the same: the vote didn’t happen and Congress went home. (AP News) Funny how priorities work in America. Senators can stay in Washington and argue with each other while doing their jobs, but when a vote becomes politically uncomfortable in the House, apparently everybody suddenly needs a vacation. If you’re confident in your position, take the damn vote and put your name next to it. That’s literally the job. @Jingoman111 truth matters more than left or right, isn’t this crazy, brother?
