Cyberpunk's Timeline, From Game to Anime
The Cyberpunk franchise now spans three stories set in Night City. The original Cyberpunk 2077 video game takes place in 2077, while Cyberpunk: Edgerunners follows David Martinez's story across 2075 and 2076, roughly a year before the game's events.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners II has now been placed on the timeline too. CD Projekt Red's lore designer Patrick Mills confirmed the new season is set in 2078, one year after the original game.
