I can’t believe anyone would take this as a diss on Flagg. It’s purely a compliment to the prospects in the 2026 draft class. That’s it. Flagg was #2 RSCI behind Boozer before reclassifying. Peterson & AJ have both surpassed Boozer in the eyes of most execs. Maybe others will. Flagg is an elite prospect. The 2026 class is full of other elite prospects. That’s the point.

The Dallas Mavericks announced today that F Santi Aldama has been assigned to the Texas Legends to practice with the team as part of his return to play protocol. He will scrimmage with the team and be recalled following practice without appearing in any games for the Legends.

The Mavericks have now upgraded Cooper Flagg (mild left shoulder sprain) from questionable to probable for tonight's game at Miami after he went through the morning shootaround.
