Watching Starmer at Blenheim, it occurs to me that we have been governed by children for a number of years. Toys being thrown out of the pram, ludicrous behaviour designed purely to attract attention etc. It was Govt by 3 yr olds. Thank God the adults are back in the room.

Both of the actions you see in these photos potentially amount to the offence of ‘public nuisance’. One is punishable with “long, long prison sentences” & the other is rewarded with huge bonuses & billions in profits. Why the disparity? What does this mean for the rule of law?

When Boris Johnson left office, many said “at least he did the best anyone could for Covid.” This inquiry shows how from reality that narrative was. Thousands of people needlessly lost their lives, many of them disabled. And the Tories got busy selling contracts to mates.

Among the many questions this raises, why *is* a London-based drinks mixer company co-sponsoring the Republican National Convention? @FeverTreeMixers

The people representing Britain at the Republican National Convention are Liz Truss, Boris Johnson and Russell Brand - three of the most washed up and discredited individuals this country has ever produced. Says it all, really.

I’ve been covering Liverpool’s homelessness crisis for a while now and I’ve heard so many heartbreaking stories. This week I heard some tales of hope and community amongst the heartache. A 🧵 that hopefully shows the resilience and kindness of people

This was written two weeks before Farage won his seat. Very prescient.
Replying to @Otto_English
First thing Farage will do if elected is clear off to America to support Trump and if people think he'll be holding surgeries to listen to constituents concerns they'll be in for a shock

I think the ‘How much constituency work will he be doing?’ question has been answered.

As an addendum to Farage being on @bbclaurak, didn't he say before the election that he would refuse to appear on BBC ever again? Further proof, were it needed, that Farage's word is pretty worthless currency. – at Bath, England
