இராமநாதபுரம் அரசு மருத்துவக் கல்லூரி மருத்துவமனை – பச்சிளம் குழந்தையின் மருத்துவ விவர அறிக்கை இராமநாதபுரம் மாவட்டம், திருவாடானை வட்டம், பாசிப்பட்டினத்தைச் சேர்ந்த திரு. முகமது அசாருதீன் – திருமதி நூருல் ஆஷிகா தம்பதியினருக்கு, இராமநாதபுரம் அரசு மருத்துவக் கல்லூரி மருத்துவமனையில் 16.10.2026 அன்று இரவு 11.29 மணியளவில் சிசேரியன் அறுவை சிகிச்சை மூலம் இரண்டாவது குழந்தையாக 2 கிலோ எடையுடன் ஆண் குழந்தை பிறந்தது. 20.10.2026 அன்று இரவு 10.05 மணியளவில், குழந்தைக்கு மஞ்சள் காமாலை (Neonatal Jaundice) ஏற்பட்டதையடுத்து, பச்சிளம் குழந்தைகளுக்கான தீவிர சிகிச்சைப் பிரிவில் (SNCU) உள்நோயாளியாக அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டது. அப்போது குழந்தையின் பிலிரூபின் அளவு 23 mg/dL ஆகவும், ஹீமோகுளோபின் அளவு 14 g/dL ஆகவும் இருந்தது. தொடர்ந்து மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்ட பரிசோதனையில் பிலிரூபின் அளவு 26 mg/dL ஆக அதிகரித்ததுடன், ஹீமோகுளோபின் அளவு 7 g/dL ஆகக் குறைந்தது. குழந்தைக்கு இருபுற ஒளிச்சிகிச்சை (Double Surface Phototherapy) மற்றும் நரம்பு வழித் திரவங்கள் வழங்கப்பட்டன. மேலும், புற இரத்தப் பரிசோதனையில் (Peripheral Smear) இரத்தச் சிதைவு வகை இரத்தசோகை (Hemolytic Anemia) இருப்பது கண்டறியப்பட்டது. 21.10.2026 அன்று அதிகாலை 5.30 மணியளவில் குழந்தையின் உடல்நிலையில் பின்னடைவு ஏற்பட்டு, அதிர்ச்சி நிலை (Shock) ஏற்பட்டது. இதையடுத்து, இரத்த அழுத்தத்தைப் பராமரிப்பதற்கான மருந்துகள் (Inotropic Support), செயற்கை சுவாசம் மற்றும் இரத்தம் செலுத்துதல் உள்ளிட்ட தீவிர சிகிச்சைகள் அளிக்கப்பட்டன. அனைத்து தீவிர சிகிச்சை நடவடிக்கைகளும் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்ட போதிலும், 21.10.2026 அன்று காலை 10.00 மணியளவில் குழந்தை சிகிச்சைப் பலனின்றி உயிரிழந்தது. இறப்பிற்கான காரணம் குறித்து விசாரித்து விரிவான அறிக்கை தாக்கல் செய்ய மருத்துவமனை முதல்வர் அறிவுறுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளார். @HM_TamilNadu @HS_TamilNadu #RamanathapuramGH #GovernmentHospital #TamilNaduHealth #HealthUpdate #MedicalReport #DMERTamilNadu #மருத்துவக்கல்வி #தமிழ்நாடுஅரசு

திருவள்ளூர் அரசு மருத்துவக் கல்லூரி மருத்துவமனையில் குளுக்கோஸ் பாட்டிலில் குழாய் தண்ணீர் செலுத்தியதாக சமூக ஊடகங்களில் செய்தி வெளியாகியது. இதற்கான ஆரம்ப கட்ட விசாரணையில்  23.09.2026 அன்று அதிகாலை 3.00 மணியளவில், மதுவுடன் கலந்து எலி மருந்தை உட்கொண்டதாகக் கூறப்படும் ஒருவர் சிகிச்சைக்காக அரசு மருத்துவக் கல்லூரி மருத்துவமனை, திருவள்ளூர் அவசர சிகிச்சைப் பிரிவிற்கு அழைத்து வரப்பட்டார். அவரை பணியில் இருந்த அவசர சிகிச்சைப் பிரிவு மருத்துவ அலுவலர் பரிசோதித்து, உரிய சிகிச்சை வழங்கப்பட்டது. முதற்கட்ட சிகிச்சையாக வயிற்றைக் கழுவுதல் (Gastric Lavage) மேற்கொள்ள அறிவுறுத்தப்பட்டது. மருத்துவ பயனாளி மது அருந்தி போதையில் காணப்பட்டதாலும், அது நள்ளிரவு நேரம் என்பதாலும் பணியிலிருந்தவர் பெண் செவிலியர் என்பதால் பாதுகாப்பு காரணங்களுக்காக ஆண் ஒப்பந்த பணியாளர் ஒருவர் துணையுடன் மருத்துவ பயானளிக்கு வயிற்றைக் கழுவும் சிகிச்சை மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டது. இதற்காக, குளியலறைக்கு வெளியே உள்ள கை கழுவும் தொட்டியில் இருந்து குழாய் நீர் பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டதாகத் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதற்கு நோயாளி ஆட்சேபனை தெரிவித்து, சிகிச்சை ஆவணத்துடன் அங்கிருந்து வெளியேறியுள்ளார். இதுகுறித்து மருத்துவமனை நிர்வாகம் நடத்திய முதற்கட்ட விசாரணையின்படி, அந்த ஒப்பந்த தூய்மை பணியாளர் தற்போது பணி நீக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளார்.  பணியில் இருந்த செவிலியருக்கு விளக்கம் கேட்டு குறிப்பாணை மருத்துவமனை நிர்வாகம் மூலம் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.   மேலும் இது குறித்து விசாரணை மேற்கொள்வதற்காக உயர் மட்ட விசாரணை குழு மருத்துவக்கல்வி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி இயக்ககம் மூலம் அமைக்கப்பட்டு விசாரணை அறிக்கையினை உடனடியாக சமர்ப்பிக்க உத்தரவிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. @HS_TamilNadu @HM_TamilNadu

Rejoinder to the news report "Govt. hospitals short on critical medicines for pre-term babies" (The Hindu, 22.09.2026) The Government of Tamil Nadu accords the highest priority to newborn care, and the report's suggestion of an unaddressed shortage of surfactant medicines in some Government hospitals is misleading. A robust monitoring mechanism and Standard Operating Procedure are already in place to address any transient supply gap in essential medicines, including surfactants, through immediate local purchase. All Deans of Medical College Hospitals and Joint Directors of Health Services stand instructed to utilise funds readily available at the institutional level — including CMCHIS funds and SNCU operational costs — to procure surfactants without any delay whatsoever. No SNCU in the State is permitted to keep a pre-term newborn waiting for want of this life-saving medicine when funds and a procurement mechanism are available at the institution itself. It must be clearly understood that supply through the Tamil Nadu Medical Services Corporation (TNMSC) is a supplement to, and not a substitute for, local procurement. The system is deliberately designed so that institutions procure locally as and when the need arises, with TNMSC supply augmenting stock positions on an ongoing basis. As on date, a sum of Rs._409.81crores__ under the Directorate of Medical Education and Rs.__34.17 crores_ under the Directorate of Medical Services in district head quarters alone is available at the disposal of institutions for such procurement. There is, therefore, no financial constraint whatsoever in ensuring uninterrupted availability of surfactants. Further, instructions to utilise locally available funds have been reiterated today to all Chief Medical Officers and Heads of Department of Paediatrics across the State. Compliance will be closely monitored by the Directorates concerned, and any lapse at the institutional level in invoking the local purchase mechanism will be viewed seriously. The Government reiterates its unwavering commitment to the care of every newborn in Tamil Nadu, and assures the public that the availability of life-saving medicines for pre-term babies stands fully safeguarded. @HS_TamilNadu @HM_TamilNadu

திருச்சி மகாத்மா காந்தி நினைவு அரசு மருத்துவமனையில் கால் எலும்பு அறுவை சிகிச்சைக்குப் பின் சிகிச்சை பெற்று வந்த ஒரு பெண் மருத்துவப்பயனாளியின் இடது கால் கட்டைவிரலில் சிறிய காயம் இருப்பதாக அவரது மகன் மருத்துவர்களிடம் தெரிவித்தார்.   சர்க்கரை நோய் பாதிப்பு உள்ள அவருக்கு உணர்வு குறைந்திருந்ததால்  வலி தெரியவில்லை.  உடனடியாக பரிசோதனை செய்து பார்த்ததில் ஒரு கட்டை விரலின் உள்பக்கம் ஒரு சிதைவு காயம் இருந்தது.  அவருக்கு முதலுதவி மற்றும் தேவையான சிகிச்சைகள் வழங்கப்பட்டன. சிசிச்சை பெற்று வரும் பயனாளியின் மகன் எலி கடித்ததால் இந்த காயம் ஏற்பட்டு இருக்கலாம் என சந்தேகம் தெரிவித்ததை தொடர்ந்து,  முன்னெச்சரிக்கை நடவடிக்கையாக அவருக்கு ஊசிகள் போடப்பட்டன. தற்போது பயனாளி நலமாக உள்ளார். கால் விரல் முழுமையான அசைவுடன் உள்ளது. மருத்துவமனைக்குள் எலிகள் வராத அளவிற்கு ஜன்னல்களில் வலையும், இரவு நேரங்களில் எலி விரட்டும் கருவியும், எலிப்பொறியும் வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.  மருத்துவப்பயனாளிகள் மற்றும் உடனாளர்கள் உணவருந்தும் மற்றும் தங்கும் இடங்களில் எலிகள் உள்ளே வராத அளவிற்கு மேற்குறிப்பிட்ட பாதுகாப்பு  நடவடிக்கைகள் மகாத்மா காந்தி நினைவு அரசு மருத்துவமனையில் தொடர்ந்து மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டு வருகிறது. இந்த நிகழ்வு குறித்து  அரசு சார்பில் விசாரனண மேற்கொள்ள மதுரை அரசு இராஜாஜி மருத்துவமனையின்  முதல்வர் அவர்கள் விசாரணை அதிகாரியாக நியமிக்கப்பட்டு, அவர் ஆய்வு மேற்கொண்டு சில அறிவுரைகளை வழங்கியுள்ளார். அதனடிப்படையில், அந்த பகுதியில் இருந்த அனைத்து மருத்துவப்பயனாளிகளும் வேறு இடங்களுக்கு மாற்றப்பட்டு விட்டனர் . இந்த கட்டடம் 50 வருடம் பழமையான கட்டடம் என்பதால் கட்டமைப்பு சிதைவின் காரணமாக எலிவளைகள் ஒவ்வொருமுறையும் மூடப்பட்டவுடன் மீண்டும் புதிதாக மற்ற இடத்தில் உருவாகி வருகின்றன. இடத்தேவைக்காக இந்த கட்டடத்தை இடித்து புதிய கட்டடம்  எழுப்ப திட்டம் உள்ளது . இந்த கட்டடத்தின் எதிர்புறம் பொதுப்பணித்துறையின் மூலம் ரூ. 110 கோடி மதிப்பீட்டில் கட்டிட கட்டுமானப் பணிகள் நடைபெறக்கூடிய இடம் உள்ளது . அங்கு கட்டிட தொழிலாளர்களால் அதிக அளவில் சேர்ந்துள்ள கழிவுப் பொருட்களை சரியான  முறையில்,  சரியான நேரத்தில்,  பாதுகாப்பாக அகற்ற பொதுப்பணித்துறை  மூலமாக கட்டுமான பணி ஒப்பந்ததாரருக்கு அறிவுறுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்த மருத்துவமனையில் கடந்த ஒன்றரை வருடங்களுக்கு மேலாக எலி தடுப்பு பாதுகாப்பு நடவடிக்கைகள் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டு வருகின்றன. எனினும் இவ்வாறு நிகழ்ந்தது குறித்து ஏழு நாட்களுக்குள் விளக்கம் அளிக்க தூய்மைப் பணி மேற்கொள்ளும் சுமித் நிறுவனத்துக்கு TNMSC மூலம் நோட்டீஸ் அனுப்பப்பட் டுள்ளது. இந்த ஒப்பந்தம் குறித்து அனைத்து மருத்துவமனை முதல்வர்கள் மற்றும் மருத்துவ கண்காணிப்பாளர்களுக்கு விழிப்பு ஏற்படுத்தவும்,   தீவிர சிகிச்சை பிரிவு,  சமையலறை , அறுவை அரங்குகள் உள்ளிட்ட அனைத்து பகுதிகளிலும் மாதாந்திர எலி தடுப்பு நடவடிக்கைகள் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட வேண்டும் எனவும் அறிவுறுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது. மேலும், தூய்மைப் பணி  ஒப்பந்ததாரர் மூலம்  மேற்கொள்ளப்படும் எலி தடுப்பு நடவடிக்கைகள் குறித்த அறிக்கையை மாதந்தோறும்  புகைப்படத்துடன் பெற்று  உறுதி செய்ய வேண்டும் என அறிவுறுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது. சுமித் நிறுவனத்திற்கு TNMSC ஒப்பந்தத்தில் உள்ளபடி எலி தடுப்பு நடவடிக்கைகளை  தொடர்ந்து மேம்படுத்த வேண்டும் எனவும் அறிவுறுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது. மருத்துவமனைகளுக்கு வரும் மருத்துவப்பயனாளிகள் மற்றும் உடனாளர்களின்  பாதுகாப்பான அனுபவத்தை உறுதி செய்ய இவ்வாறான உறுதியான நடவடிக்கைகள் உதவும் என்று நம்புகிறேன். @arunraajkg @HM_TamilNadu @HS_TamilNadu #TNHealth #trichy #govthospital #PublicSafety #FactCheck #HealthMinisterTN

சென்னை கீழ்ப்பாக்கம் அரசு மனநல காப்பகத்தில் (IMH) நடந்த ஒரு துயர சம்பவம் குறித்த செய்திகள் எனது கவனத்திற்கு வந்துள்ளது. முழுமையான வெளிப்படைத்தன்மையை உறுதி செய்வதற்கும், தவறான தகவல்கள் பரவுவதைத் தடுப்பதற்கும், இதுகுறித்த உண்மையான விவரங்களை பொதுமக்களுக்கு தெளிவுபடுத்த விரும்புகிறேன். நீதிமன்ற உத்தரவின் பேரில் இங்கு சிகிச்சைக்காக அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டிருந்த இரண்டு காவல் கைதிகளுக்கு இடையே கடந்த ஜூலை 20 அன்று எதிர்பாராத விதமாக ஒரு மோதல் ஏற்பட்டது. இதன்போது காயமடைந்த நபருக்கு காலை 10:40 மணிக்கு எங்கள் மருத்துவ குழுவினர் உடனடியாக அவசர சிகிச்சை அளித்தனர். பின்னர் உயிர் காக்கும் மேல் சிகிச்சைக்காக காலை 11:45 மணிக்கு அவர் சென்னை ஸ்டான்லி அரசு மருத்துவமனைக்கு மாற்றப்பட்டார். அன்றைய தினமே இந்தத் தாக்குதல் குறித்து G5 காவல் நிலையத்திற்கும் உடனடியாக தகவல் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டது. ஸ்டான்லி மருத்துவமனை மருத்துவர்கள் தொடர்ந்து தீவிர சிகிச்சை அளித்தும், பலனின்றி அவர் ஜூலை 23 அன்று உயிரிழந்தார் என்பது மிகவும் வேதனையளிக்கிறது. அவரது குடும்பத்தினருக்கு எனது ஆழ்ந்த இரங்கலைத் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன். இந்தச் சம்பவத்தை வேறு கோணத்தில் சித்தரிக்கும் செய்திகளைக் கண்டு பொதுமக்களும், ஊடகங்களும் தேவையற்ற அச்சம் கொள்ள வேண்டாம் என்று கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன். நீதிமன்ற காவலில் இருந்தவர்களுக்கு இடையே நடந்த துரதிர்ஷ்டவசமான தனிப்பட்ட சம்பவம் இது. தற்போது இச்சம்பவம் குறித்து காவல்துறையினர் சட்டப்படி தீவிர விசாரணை மேற்கொண்டு வருகின்றனர். கீழ்ப்பாக்கம் மனநல காப்பகத்தில் தங்கி சிகிச்சை பெற்று வரும் நமது மற்ற அனைத்து நோயாளிகளின் பாதுகாப்பும், நல்வாழ்வும் முழுமையாக உறுதி செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. அவர்களின் பாதுகாப்பே எங்களின் தலையாய முன்னுரிமை என்பதை உறுதியளிக்கிறேன். We have taken note of the recent news regarding a tragic incident at the Institute of Mental Health (IMH), Chennai. To ensure complete transparency and prevent misinformation, I want to clarify the actual facts for the public. On July 20, an unfortunate altercation occurred at the facility between two remand individuals who were admitted under judicial magistrate orders with pending legal charges. Our dedicated medical team provided immediate emergency treatment at 10:40 AM and swiftly transferred the injured individual to Stanley Medical College Hospital at 11:45 AM for advanced, life-saving care. The G5 Police Station was also promptly informed of the assault on the very same day. Despite the best continuous efforts of our doctors at Stanley mc hospital, the individual tragically succumbed to their injuries on July 23. My deepest condolences go out to the family. I urge the public and media not to panic over reports painting this in a different light. This was an isolated incident involving individuals strictly under judicial care, and the matter is currently being thoroughly investigated by law enforcement.
