I agree with them but not from a place of doom and gloom. I feel like we need to use him more like a chess piece than just a slot. I think we are underutilizing him. The play Winter got the pick on was one of the best overall defensive plays of the night. He was at safety helping relaying the call. Our defense NEEDS that.

LESS TDS & YARDS THAN MOST & 102 OF HIS 173 YARDS CAME IN THE GB GAME & THEY THREW SLANTS & FLATS ALL DAY DINK & DUNKED FOR THOSE COMPLETIONS. HE HAS NO PROBLEM GUARDING WRS, HE DOES IT EVERY GAME 71 YDS WK 1-5. 180 PASSING PLAYS & HAS BEEN TARGETED 18 TIMES.
WE RELY ON YOU FOR ACCURACY & TRUTH, STOP RAILROADING THIS KID WHILE HES PLAYING BETTER THAN HIS COUNTERPARTS. EVRYONE OTHER WHITHERSPOON HAS GIVEN UP MORE TDS & FAR MORE TARGETS. QB's DONT THROW OFTEN AT DOWNS AT ALL.

Downs has allowed fewer yards and TDs than DeJean, but a significantly higher completion percentage (94.4% vs. 58.8%) BECAUSE OF THEM THROWING TO THE FLATS NOT WHILE IN MAN CCOVERAGE.
Witherspoon has faced nearly DOUBLE the targets of Downs while allowing fewer yards and ZERO touchdowns.
I meant move him around the offense guys, not trade. It’s too late for that we gotta ride it out, but let’s use our team better.
