It's supposed to be fun
I know this seems obvious, but I see too many people saying their GM or co-players stress them out or make them feel uncomfortable
It should not suck to play a tabletop game

Keep things short! Don't start with a long campaign, instead do multi session adventures or one shots until everyone understands their RPG Love Language. Getting that communication between everyone at the table is key, and once that exists, you will tackle a bigger game with ease

A big thank you to @DMdotTools and their killer site/toolset. I was playing during a recording session on some terrible hotel internet and used their tools to make all my rolls and initiative tracking for the session.
It was a solid experience.

In your dm.tools/dungeons campaigns you can add rooms and move your players between them. Clicking the "Focus" button will move your players to the DM's current perspective and room. #dnd #ttrpg

My boy Riric would attempt to play all the instruments the bard would allow him, probably accidentally breaking some of them in a process and embarrassed paying for them
Your character is forced into a music shop with a bard, what happens next? #dnd #ttrpgfamily #rpglife
