Republican gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy doubled down on the controversial campaign ad featuring the estranged mother of his opponent in the Ohio governor's race, Amy Acton, calling her a "liar."
"If she feels that there's anything that's unfair or inaccurate about the criticisms leveled against her, she should be willing to defend herself on a debate stage," he said on Wednesday.
Acton's campaign and her brother denounced the ad as a "despicable low."

Donald Trump possesses every undesirable disgusting, loathsome characteristic a human being can have. Every one of them.
Not one was missed.
John Donne in his thoughtful 1624 meditation Devotions upon Emergent Occasions states that every man is part of a much larger landmass representing all of humanity, and that upon a man's death the landmass becomes smaller, a loss that affects the entire human race. "Don't ask for whom the bell tolls it tolls for thee."
But Donne had the good fortune of never knowing of the future existence of the vilest and lowest person who could have ever been brought into existence. Trump, indeed, will be sent straight to the eternal flaming pits of hell, and that is self-evident and as such not open for debate with misguided human filth. We will celebrate as is our first amendment right.
We will righteously celebrate in numbers.
