If everyone in csk is dispensable then so should be Dube and Rutu. Infact they should be shown the door right away when 2027 season gets over if not now.

Csk are in this mess cuz of Flem only mind you. Easiest thing Flem could have done is getting all of Don, Brevis, Livi, Overton, Ellis in 2025 mega auction and funny thing is we could have got all of them under 20cr back then.

Even csk would be thinking about giving Brevis to a team which has Miller, Stubbs. Another one there and DC mo looks stronger. Don't think this will happen. Dube will make the cut I still feel.

R we being too critical to CSK wrt that trade with SRH? They let go of 2 bowlers who collectively hv played 5 games for them in 2026. Ellis has played 1 match in 2 seasons n Khaleel was abysmal last year. What they r getting is a middle order batter who is in decent touch. Livi allows them to let 2 heavy budget buys (Prashant n Kartik) go. That’s 28 cr already free for auction. Also, CSK’s batting is bigger problem at this moment. Last ipl, they were 3rd worst batting unit, only ahead of KKR n LSG. Their bowling did fairly decent with econ of 9.58, which was fourth best

Yes. And I think he would work well in Dhoni's CSK. The Gaikwad-Fleming combo feels as shaky as any typical franchise. I would prefer a higher-caliber player, but if I can't get it, then Livingstone works.
