There is absolutely no place for political violence in our democracy. Although we don’t yet know exactly what happened, we should all be relieved that former President Trump wasn’t seriously hurt, and use this moment to recommit ourselves to civility and respect in our politics. Michelle and I are wishing him a quick recovery.

My first rotation in residency was in a Surgical ICU. There was a nice 85 y/o male who was found to have a nodule on CXR and then had a biopsy done. The biopsy was benign, but there was a series of postop complications. Sadly, this gentleman died 30 days after the biopsy. This was a lesson I always carry with me.

Deep vein arterialization works and provides functional limb salvage. This story made me so happy!
Dr. Michael Siah, M.D. and the vascular surgery team helped their patient Irma by saving her foot through the deep arterialization procedure, giving her the gift to continue dancing and enjoying all of life’s special moments.

Sometimes for whatever reason, you'll have just a noncontrast study. This was a nice pick up. On a bad day could have been overlooked. CTA to follow.

I’ve never been a fan of this type of statement. It’s like saying, don’t do a TAAA unless you can do the dialysis yourself. Should they not access any arteries?
