In celebration of the National Children’s Month, the radio program “Ikaw ug ang DSWD, Kauban sa Kabag-ohan,” aired over DYHP on November 8, 2026, featured a meaningful discussion on children’s rights, protection, and programs that support Filipino children.
DSWD-7 Social Welfare Officer IV and Children’s Sector Focal Person Ligaya Dael discussed the importance of positive discipline, open communication, and protecting children from online risks.
DSWD 7, in partnership with the Provincial Government of Bohol through the BEPO-PESO, participated in the Carlos P. Garcia Local and Overseas Job Fair 2026 cum “4Ps sa 4Ps” Year 2, held on November 7, 2026, at the Bohol Cultural Center in Tagbilaran City, Bohol. @dswdserves
The participation of 4Ps beneficiaries highlights the importance of linking social protection programs with employment and livelihood opportunities.
Through initiatives such as the “4Ps sa 4Ps” Job Fair, the government provided graduating and active 4Ps households opportunities to explore meaningful employment, strengthen their earning capacity, and build a more secure future for their families.

DSWD’s Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), led by Jimmy Crusio, Provincial Coordinator in Bohol, officially inaugurated the Egg Production Project of the Boyog Sur Livelihood Association in Balilihan, Bohol. @dswdserves
The association members could not contain their happiness as their project has finally become a reality, after months of waiting. The association received a Seed Capital Fund amounting to Php 900,000.00 as start-up capital for the implementation of their project.
Jimmy Crusio congratulated the association and reminded its members of their responsibilities as program participants.

During the 2026 Panagtagbo sa mga Retirado ug Aktibong Kawani sa DSWD-7, Director III Jiah L. Sayson paid tribute to the agency's retired personnel, recognizing their invaluable contributions in shaping the standards, integrity, and accomplishments of the Department. @dswdserves

16,107 FAMILIES REGISTERED UNDER SET 14 OF 4Ps IN BOHOL!
A total of 16,107 families in Bohol have officially registered under Set 14 of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps). @dswdserves
They also participated in an orientation to better understand the objectives of 4Ps, its conditionalities, and their roles and responsibilities as partner beneficiaries.
Through these activities, DSWD Field Office 7—Central Visayas continues to ensure that newly registered families are well-informed and guided as they begin their journey toward improved family well-being and self-sufficiency.
