"When you compare Trump's first two years to Biden's last two, GDP growth and job creation are slower, inflation is higher, and budget and trade deficits are bigger. If Trump is right that under Biden we had the worst economy in history, and the Trump economy is objectively worse on all counts, then the Trump economy is now the worst economy in history."
The Sept. U.S. trade deficit in goods was $134.9 billion, the highest ever recorded in Sept. There were only three months in history when the deficit was higher, all under Trump in 2025. Here are the facts. Measured by the size of our trade deficits, Trump has been the worst president in history on trade. The tariffs have been a complete failure. Not only have they failed to bring manufacturing back to the U.S., but the U.S. is now more dependent than ever on foreign producers. Not only are we importing more than ever, but we are now paying Trump's tariffs on those imports. Trump says trade deficits represent a loss. Judged by his own standard, Trump is the biggest loser in the history of the presidency. Also, if the economy is booming as Republicans claim, why have our trade deficits gone way up? Why are the trade deficits under Trump so much larger than they were under Biden, when, according to Trump, we had the worst economy in U.S. history? Here are the facts. When you compare Trump's first two years to Biden's last two, GDP growth and job creation are slower, inflation is higher, and budget and trade deficits are bigger. If Trump is right that under Biden we had the worst economy in history, and the Trump economy is objectively worse on all counts, then the Trump economy is now the worst economy in history.

Finnish and Norwegian Prime Ministers have finally picked up the telephone and spoke directly with Putin. On October 27, the two leaders initiated a conversation with the Russian president to discuss ending the war in Ukraine. Two national leaders recognizing that they have a responsibility to protect their own people rather than waiting for Brussels to tell them whether they are permitted to speak to Moscow. Europe’s political leadership should recognize that diplomacy is not an endorsement of another government’s actions. Speaking with an adversary does not require accepting its demands. It is how governments determine whether compromise is possible, communicate warnings, and reduce the risk of catastrophic misunderstandings.

This morning the Yangshan premium reached $205 per tonne (+30% in less than a week) to a new ALL TIME HIGH. The lack of copper supply is real.
Following up on yesterday's post, here is what the 12-month chart looks like for the Yangshan premium, which yesterday hit a RECORD $178 per tonne of copper. That record broke again this morning. This tells us that despite all the macro noise, nothing has changed in the PHYSICAL world. The Yangshan copper premium is the extra cost paid over the benchmark London Metal Exchange (LME) price to import refined copper into China. The RECORD premium signals a lack of available short-term supply, strong domestic demand and low local warehouse inventories. China is the world's largest consumer of refined copper, accounting for ~60% of global consumption. This problem is not unique to China, as other major economies around the world also face the same reality when they try to get their hands on copper metal... they have to pay up. The copper market only wants to react upwards when the physical market globally is tight and shows no signs of easing.

Great to see the warmongering media (particularly British) in a meltdown over US-Russia economic cooperation. We will continue to exasperate warmongers through dialogue, economic cooperation, realistic peace initiatives, prosperity and global security. 🕊️

JARED KUSHNER IS MOSSAD 🇮🇱 Dutch intelligence confirmed it. But… this is NOT new information. It was already revealed in the Epstein Files. The FBI already knew this. A leaked FBI report [I’ll post it in the replies] revealed that Epstein (and Alan Dershowitz) was Mossad, with Epstein personally trained as a spy by the ex-Prime Minister of Israel. And they RECRUITED the Kushner family. This includes Josh Kutcher who Trump exploited his power as president to get him ownership of the Lakers. Trump also exploited his power to pardon the family for tax evasion, witness tampering and illegal donations. Jared now controls a multi-billion dollar, highly connected, fund used to exploit and extract from the Middle East. This is one of the largest crime families in the world.
