Sunset Boulevard is expected to reopen overnight. Thank you to the LADWP crews who have been working around the clock to make repairs. LADWP is also accelerating plans to fully replace the original pipe to strengthen reliability.
This year I created Los Angeles’ first-ever Capital Infrastructure Program — something all other big cities in America have — to build and upgrade our critical infrastructure. Over the last three decades, the lack of a Capital Infrastructure Program has led to systemic underfunding of infrastructure that Angelenos rely on every day. We’re changing that.

"Even if I thought that a ground war would be necessary to undo the damage that @realDonaldTrump did ... He can't be the one running it. He has no idea what he's doing. He'll change his mind 3 times a day. He says things that make no sense. He can't think. His brain is scrambled."
As someone who works in the industry this is welcomed news! 👏👏👏👏

Our president took away funds from Americans just because they live in a state that voted against him? That violates his constitutional duty to take care that the laws be faithfully executed.

Trump bought at least $1 million of Dell stock in February.
Since then, he's repeatedly told Americans to buy Dell products.
No wonder he has pocketed $2.3 billion off the presidency. The grift never stops.

The corrupt Trump administration has just admitted to withholding taxpayer dollars from states based on how they voted.

Fired “60 Minutes” correspondent Cecilia Vega says the “new administration” at CBS News pushed her to report on events that “never happened” and include claims her team couldn't verify:
• Vega said editors urged her to report that protesters attacked suspected undercover ICE agents and that Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey called for police to fight ICE, but found “no credible examples” of such incidents
• CBS News denied the allegations, saying Vega's claims “are not based in reality” and noted that none of the disputed material ever aired.
