Thats exactly how this coaster is. The track is above you so when you flip it’s an inverted loop and all of your energy is trying to throw you out of the seat. Not ideal when you can just slip through the crack! Without a doubt the most thrilling experience I’ve ever had on a coaster though (granted it didn’t have to be lol!)

Not to take away from this extremely sad incident at all, but I just wanted to add my experience my last time at Six Flags over Georgia. I actually almost died on the Batman ride there. Noticed my restraint wasn’t lowering enough for me to feel secure prior to the coaster launch and we were freaking out trying to inform the workers, but they just kinda chuckled at us and started the coaster anyway. After almost completely sliding out of the seat on the first loop and pulling myself back up into my seat, I guess adrenaline kicked in and I was able to get a more secure latch on the restraint because I finished the ride locked in fine. It was at that moment I vowed to never ride another ride at Six Flags again. I hate this most recent accident has happened, but the lack of care and safety precautions by the employees really is a concern.

100%! Because you were sitting there right beside me. I would’ve loved to have had someone sitting beside me telling me “you’re not going anywhere” while my head is where my butt should be going around an inverted loop 😂 I know the coaster doesn’t launch man. “Launch” as in starts lol.
