Newest example of CRITICAL RAGE THEORY
Topics that angers enough to blind logic.
DEI, Critical Race Theory, Social Emotional Learning, Caravans, Abortion - the target is as moveable as it is endlessly. For a state with ZERO trans athletes, for some reason it’s on our ballot!
wasting time & $millions in a state with 0 trans athletes, when our farmers are getting bankrupted by diesel & bringing in beef exports, kids are losing SNAP & families losing healthcare. Hopefully there’s a law preventing polar bears in schools coming next.
Saturday was a great day standing up for Nebraska girls.
Fairness for Girls is on the ballot this year. A yes vote makes protections for our daughters and granddaughters permanent. Dan Osborn called this effort “rooted in hate.” I call it common sense.
Your vote is pivotal in passing protections for girls. If your early ballot is sitting on the kitchen counter, fill it out and get it in.
Early in-person voting is open. Get out to vote and bring 10 friends with you!
Iowa pay attention! Here’s another question- if Lahn’s school is so great, why have there been ZERO parents or students endorsing or promoting him? Even when I ran for school board I had former players and families supporting me. Lahn might be a loser…in more ways than one.
What Zach Lahn isn't saying: he runs a private school in Kansas that rejects kids with disabilities and is millions of dollars in debt.
He wants this to be "the model for reinventing education" in Iowa. No thanks. #IAGov #GovDebate kansasreflector.com/2026/08/…
Brinker and his buddies set Nebraska on fire (we’re paying almost $4000 more just in living costs!), and are now standing outside with a bullhorn yelling “don’t call 911! A scary fire fighter might come!” Don’t let him distract you from the flames with fiction.
Here’s my ballot thoughts thread on the races that I felt needed a few more words. Apologies in advance for the screenshots - not paying for more text! Hopefully someone will find it helpful, especially among all the text messages we’ve all been getting.

YOU'RE NOT PAYING TAXES FOR THE PROPERTY, YOU'RE PAYING YOUR TOWN FOR THE SERVICES IT PROVIDES. THE ROADS, POLICE, SCHOOLS, FIRE DEPARTMENT, LIBRARY, SNOW PLOWS, EMERGENCY SERVICES AND SO MUCH MORE.
“I’m old. I’ve paid my home off,” said Ray Warner, a 72-year-old Akron resident. “Why would I pay property tax?”
Across the country, homeowners are asking the same question and revolting against property taxes at a scale not seen in a half century.

If this doesn’t make you do a double blinking “huh,” then I hope you at least made the connection with the closing Ocean scene.
I don’t remember the last movie I was this engaged with.

"Nebraska Went First With Its Medicaid Cuts. Now It’s Resonating in the Midterms.
Work requirements that are theoretical in other states have barred more than 1,000 Nebraskans from health insurance"

When Republicans passed their mega tax-cut bill, they timed ~$1 trillion in health care cuts to kick in after the midterms.
Nebraska decided to launch early, implementing some cuts in July. Now, the Senate and Gov races in NE are closer than expected.

Not only was there no one there - Reece VZ was also open, and so open he was pointing back to DJV who was just as open in the endzone!
High level sack there. Ries’ job was to turn the Guard and Center to open lanes, and he stayed square and found his man after the initial pressure.
