I don't have a favorite driver because nobody has brought the excitement & grabbed my attention enough since the last generation retired. I expect its the same for a lot of people which is why Hocevar is having such an impact. He is the first guy to strike that nerve with fans

64 percent of NASCAR fans don’t have a favorite driver? I’m struggling to believe this. Anecdotally, the majority of people I’ve met at the racetrack have a favorite driver. I can buy the non-NASCAR public doesn’t know these guys well, but NASCAR fans have favorites.
