PEOPLE ARE GETTING KUDOS ON THEIR FIC WHILE AO3 IS DOWN????? to be honest I wouldn’t blame the volunteers who have access to ao3 and get to read nice fanfic as a treat after everything they’ve done for writers. I hope they have fun reading 😭🥹

(crawling out of debris, covered in blood) I survived the first week of the great ao3 down. #ao3outage

“no kink shaming” proceeds to shame women for embracing their sexual desire and not being ashamed of enjoying a safe and consensual play pretend with their partners. it’s always the disguise of feminism that most reeks of misogyny

1. lily cannot be “underage.” she’s a fictional character. she doesn’t exist
2. but even by the logic of her being a child, she still cannot be one today, because she was 16 in 2022. she’s 20 in 2026
3. the art goes mainstream because duolingo attempted to censor it. the irony

it’s actually super ok to like a fictional character who’s a villain because they’re a villain & they’re hot. you don’t need a morally justified reason to like and be a fan of a fictional character lol your real-life moral compass doesn’t have to mirror your enjoyment of fiction

took nearly a decade of practice for me to be where I am as a fanfic writer. proud of how far I’ve come but my writing is not perfect. sometimes it takes hours to come up with a paragraph I want. writing is hard. whoever thinks it’s key smash has no idea how to actually write lol

what’s your near death experience? I once accidentally email a gay smut fanfiction I wrote to my college professor when I tried to email the fic to myself

it turned out ao3 [dot] life was able to repost & monetize millions of fanfiction (without writers’ consent or knowledge) through the google drives people share, still without writers’ consent or knowledge. and fanfic writers were painted as villains for setting their boundaries

lmao not duolingo making that artist delete their suggestive lily fanart only for it to backfire. the artist deleted their art but now when you search duolingo, it’s flooded with that lily gif and it caused more people to repost and talk about that gif lol lol lol

it’s actually so hot when you give your favorite character an erectile dysfunction, so they can’t get it up even during intimacy / when they want to get it up. the humiliation and vulnerability are INSANE. write more fanfic where your blorbo has an erectile dysfunction NOW
