You do not believe in Annihilation of Caste if you believe in the term ‘we are against Brahmanism, not against Brahmin.’ It's not rocket science to understand that Caste remains intact if someone claims to be Brahmin. #Repost

Daughter of an Auto-Rickshaw Driver: Deepali Salve’s Journey from the Slums of Mumbai to the Frontlines of the Ambedkarite Movement. Some people rise above their circumstances to change their own destiny. Others rise to change the destiny of an entire community. Deepali Salve belongs to the latter. I first met Deepali Salve in Nanded, Maharashtra, in 2022. She had travelled all the way from Mumbai, all alone, to listen to our Ambedkarite speakers. When I asked her about her journey, she replied simply, “Yes, Dada. I came here to listen to all our Ambedkarite speakers.” I did not know then that this meeting would become the beginning of a shared journey of struggle, organization, and social transformation. As we spoke about the condition of our people, the atrocities committed against Dalits, and the continuing injustice faced by our communities, Deepali expressed a pain that went far beyond her personal experiences. She said, “Dada, when I see the condition of our people and the atrocities committed against them, I feel that we are still living under Peshwa rule.” Her words struck me deeply. They reflected the anguish of a young Dalit woman who had witnessed inequality and understood that silence could never be the answer to oppression. That day, we shared more than our concerns. We shared a determination to organize, resist, and build a movement that could give our people a stronger collective voice. From that conviction emerged the All India Independent Scheduled Castes Association (AIISCA)—an effort to organize our communities, assert our rights, and carry forward the unfinished mission of Babasaheb Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. But we also understood that political awareness and social mobilization alone were not enough. Our children needed education. Our girls needed opportunities. Our most marginalized students needed guidance, resources, and someone who would tell them that their dreams were possible. This realization led us to establish the Savitribai Phule Resource Centre (SRC). Today, we have more than 15 centres, helping students from marginalized backgrounds pursue higher education. Every year, more than 100 students move towards higher education in some of India's premier institutions. Behind every student who succeeds is a family that dares to dream, a young person who refuses to surrender, and a movement that believes no child should be denied an education because of caste, class, or circumstances. Deepali is an inseparable part of this struggle. Her own life tells a powerful story of courage, sacrifice, and determination. She comes from Anand Nagar, a Dalit-dominated slum in Chembur, Mumbai—a community where poverty restricts opportunities, where girls often struggle to pursue education, and where early marriage can bring an end to their dreams before they have a chance to take flight. Her father drives an auto-rickshaw. Her mother works as a sanitation worker and is associated with Stree Mukti Sanghatana. They may not have possessed great financial resources, but they possessed something far more powerful: the determination to educate their children despite every hardship. Through their sacrifices, they gave their children the opportunity to imagine a different future. From a government school in Jalna to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar High School and Acharya College in Chembur, Deepali continued her journey against the odds. Poverty could have limited her opportunities. Social stigma could have weakened her confidence. The barriers of caste and gender could have forced her to abandon her aspirations. But she refused to let her circumstances define her destiny. Today, she is a PhD scholar at the University of Mumbai, the Maharashtra General Secretary of AIISCA, and a Director of the Savitribai Phule Resource Centre. She is also breaking barriers as one of the rare women from her neighbourhood to pursue a doctorate.

Hey @parthpunter, It's good that you are highlighting Sahil’s protest, but before blaming others, look into your own father @waglenikhil’s cuteness. He never misses a chance to show his casteist side.
Comedian Masoom Rajwani and many others detained by Mumbai Police. Their crime? Carrying out a peaceful candlelight gathering for Sahil Wakode. Sahil, a Dalit student, died by suicide at IIT Bombay. His parents have alleged that caste-based harassment led to his death

I know Brahmanical media has always ignored us. But in today’s social media-driven world, if your circle is talking about Neha Bora instead of Deepali Salve, you are in the wrong circle. If your circle is talking about CJP instead of Sahil Wakode, you are in the wrong circle.

Here is casteist @pbhushan1 about Justice Karnan.
Leftists have special fondness for Casteists. Neither Neha nor Bhushan uttered a word on Caste murder of Sahil. Prashant Bhushan is a certified casteist. He stood in front row with right wing Anna Hazare to delegitimise UPA. Bhushan had not only filed a case against Dalit Prerana Sthal but also filed case against lone Dalit judge in Delhi high court Justice Suresh Kait. Bhushan also in an interview said, “It is not necessary to have Dalit Jugde, I’m not particularly in favour of reservations in the higher judiciary” Link:nationalheraldindia.com/inte…

Savarna has a problem with every other form of oppression in the world except the one they are involved in and benefit from.

If Osama bin Laden had been a Brahmin, instead of forming a terrorist organization, he would have created Brahmin academia.

So, @iitbombay officially celebrates Cheater Radhakrishnan's birthday as Teachers' Day, despite his plagiarism of his own student's thesis, simply because he is Brahmin. And force a Dalit to commit suicide with a false allegation of cheating.

Many of you have not known Umar Khalid before going to jail. She is the exact version of him, but of a different gender.
The students of IIT Bombay have stood up with Professor Doolla. You spineless people, come out and show who you are instead of vilifying a Muslim woman who has been called jihadi, pakistani , atankwadi , madrasa bred bigot etc!

Didn't I tell you before that Modi is a symptom, not a cause? Nothing will change if you replace Modi with Gandhi, Banerjee, Kejriwal, or any other Savarna. The real problem is Brahmanism and its creator. To create a civilized society, eradicate them from all key positions.

In last ten years, around 120 students have been forced to commit suicide at the IIT, and 90% of them are Dalit. Every time, Savarna (Hindu or Muslim) opposes the Dalits. Each time, parties like BJP, Congress, AAP, and other Savarna parties support Savarna.
In this suicide, I stand with Professor Doolla. If a student is caught cheating, it is normal to admonish him & ask him to leave the room. If the student was harassed due to his caste, he should have complained to the SC/ST department. When we were kids - we were admonished by teachers, parents for our wrongdoings but our generation was mentally strong. I would request colleges to have mental health therapists for the wellbeing of the students.

Brahmins host Ganpati for only one or at most one and a half days at their homes. But they ask others to keep it for 10 days. Brahmins love for their god is mostly symbolic and for economic interests.

A very proud moment for all of us at Nalanda Academy. Our alumnus, Mohan Kannake, has been featured by BBC News Marathi as he leaves for the UK to pursue a Master’s in Climate Change and Sustainability at Newcastle University. Coming from a landless family in Wardha, Mohan’s journey has been anything but easy. After Class 12, he discontinued his education, drove trucks and worked as a labourer. Nalanda Academy helped him return to education—and today, he is flying to England for his higher studies. This is what opportunities can do. Talent exists everywhere. 💙 So proud of you, Mohan. Fly high! Watch his journey on BBC News Marathi: youtube.com/watch?v=bQq13VZB…

Referring to meat as 'non-veg' downplays its significance and seems disrespectful. Will you call a female "Non male"?
For the record: 80% of Indians are non-vegetarian. Indian non-vegetarian food is delicious. As are my sister's chole bhature.

Atheist doesn't mean anti-caste. A Brahmin who claims to be an atheist still enjoys all the privileges of his caste. Bapat wouldn't have gotten so much attention if his last name were Kamble, Gaikwad, Meshram, or Soren.
नास्तिक असणे म्हणजे नक्की काय? विद्यानंद बापट यांनी सुंदर पद्धतीने मांडलं आहे.

Had Brahmins demonstrated the same commitment or determination to annihilate the caste, the caste would have already disappeared.
These men speak for me, and lakhs of Punekars like me, who want to celebrate our festivals in peace without creating any nuisance on the roads and public places We just happen to be the most neglected vote bank. Ban DJs and Dolby in public places - why is this so hard to implement?

Hey @rajuparulekar, We all know Kejriwal is part of RSS. But who stopped your cute boy from actually offering a real solution before CJP existed? He couldn't even stand with his own party's senior leader, who openly faced casteism.
