Politicians grift off virtue signaling "helping the homeless" when all they're really doing is lining their friends' and their own pockets with taxpayer dollars. Nothing ever actually reaches the homeless. I told her that a City of Dallas audit just last year showed that Housing Forward spent less than 2% on 2 contracts toward helping the homeless and HF couldn't even meet basic HUD requirements that would qualify it for $4 Billion in federal grants! Andy wants to give your money to that entity. Democrat Commissioners Elba Garcia and John Wiley Price see it for what it is. So, do I. This is not a partisan issue. If Andy's crazy 22% tax passes, that same entity would be receiving over $100 million per year for 5 years with no sunset provision - that means it's permanent!
