Houston, Texas — Police Officers responded to a trespassing call at a gas station and detained two males. One male was given a warning and told to leave the property. The second male (suspect) was found to have active warrants and, as officers conducted a search on him, they found a pistol concealed in his waistband. Officers attempted to place the suspect under arrest, but he pushed away from them and attempted to move his hands toward the pistol. Officers gave the suspect verbal commands not to do so and, as the struggled continued, one officer discharged a weapon and struck the suspect one time. Officers detained the suspect, removed the pistol from his waistband and provided medical assistance until Houston Fire Department paramedics arrived. The suspect was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased. No officers were injured.

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma — Oklahoma City officers responded to an assault with the deadly weapon. When officers arrived, they located a male victim who had been attacked with a machete and sustained a significant injury to his hand. The suspect had fled before officers arrived. Officers searched for the suspect but were unable to locate him. A short time later, officers were notified the suspect had returned to the area. Officers located the individual identified as Albert Benson. Benson was still armed with a large machete, and began running back towards the original victim's location. Officers attempted to deescalate the situation and gave repeated commands for Benson to drop the weapon. He refused. Due to the earlier violent assault, officers deployed two tasers in a 40mm less lethal impact round in an attempt to disarm him. These efforts were unsuccessful and Benson charged the officers with the machete. As he closed the distance, officers discharged their firearms, striking him. Benson was transported to a local hospital where he later was pronounced deceased.

Notice how China isn't worried about human extinction from AI, it's because the safety measures for alignment are possible. Americans have become so complacent and naive that foreign subversion is very effective. Technology has rewired the brain and shortened the attention span all because the value of convenience and luxury are prioritized over necessity and integrity. My sister is a teacher and she can tell you that AI is already make our kids stupid. They have removed the gift of having to think, analyze and come to conclusion, as well as choice. The people won't know how to do anything, or sustain themselves. They stopped educating for convenience.
