As seen in my DM 👇🏽
My girlfriend and I dated for 2 years before she got pregnant for me. I didn’t deny the pregnancy because I’m certain the child is mine. Even though I wasn’t fully ready for marriage, I decided to marry her because I didn’t want to be separated from my child.
But ever since we got married, I haven’t had peace of mind. Honestly, I regr€t rushing into the marriage. After she gave birth, I asked her what business she would like to start and I gave her ₦3.5 million to support her, but instead of starting something meaningful, she spent most of the money on bags and wigs.
She hardly cooks for me. I leave for work in the morning without breakfast and sometimes come back at night only for her to ask if I can eat noodles. I stock the house with food every month, yet she barely cooks. Even when my friends or siblings visit, she doesn’t offer them food or make them feel welcome.
Another thing that bothers me is the kind of things she posts online. She shares memes and content that, in my opinion, married women shouldn’t be posting publicly. Sometimes she even posts chats between her and other men complimenting or flirting with her, saying things like they didn’t know she was married. The painful part is that my friends are usually the ones sending me screenshots because I don’t even get to see those statuses from my own end.
Right now, I feel like I have lost control of my own home. I don’t even feel ready to have another child with her. I’ve spoken to her parents about the issues. Her father keeps begging me to be patient with her, but it feels like her mother supports her behavior.
At this point, I’m considering traveling abroad and leaving her behind because I keep hearing stories about women abroad and I don’t want to become another victim. I’m confused and emotionally exhausted.
The only thing I know for sure is that I don’t want to be separated from my daughter.
Please give your advice.

Aproko Doctor is trending after a podcast clip about his wife, Amaka Egemba, sparked serious debate online 👀 He revealed that his wife wasn’t his physical spec. 🙄🙄
On the podcast, the popular health influencer, Dr. Chinonso Egemba, opened up about marriage, “spec,” and choosing character over physical appearance.
He said:
“My wife didn’t look anything like the spec I created in my head. It was what she was saying, her thoughts, and most importantly, her heart for people. She was peace for me.”
His wife, Amaka Egemba, popularly known as Chef Amaka, is now at the center of conversations across X.
While some people praised Aproko Doctor for valuing peace, character, and emotional connection over physical attraction…
Others believe some truths should never be said publicly, especially about your spouse.
Their argument:
Yes, everyone has preferences.
Yes, not everyone ends up marrying their exact physical spec.
But publicly saying your partner wasn’t your “spec” can leave them feeling like they were never the first choice. 🤔

Stop comparing yourself with a man.
If is how you people behave in your state, where I come from there is no such thing.
In Akwa Ibom, there is a tradition called (Ekpo nkawo) and it is very functional in my family.
If you are married traditionally and your dowry has been paid, if you sleep with another man, you will swell up, and your hair will start falling out on your head and if your husband knows about it and try to cover it up, he may d!e.
Paternity is not acceptable in Akwa Ibom if it is acceptable in Igbo land.

"If you check every successful marriage that has lasted the test of time, you will see that the husband is a patient man"
THEY ARE ALWAYS NAGGING, SHOUTING, BEHAVING NONCHALANTLY AND RUDELY, LACKING ACCOUNTABILITY, INSULTING, BRINGING UNNECESSARY MOOD SWINGS, NOT KNOWING WHAT TO DO THAT IS RIGHT, AND INTENTIONALLY BEING STUPID WHEN IT COMES TO THEIR HUSBAND.
1. But when it comes to their bosses, they obey the rules of the job, clock in on time, speak to the boss respectfully, take accountability for failure to do their work, have patience no matter what or how the boss is talking to them, and have patience with him and will never talk back to their bosses
2. When it comes to their pastors, bishops, prophets, imams, they respect them, talk respectfully, gift them expensive gifts, bow to greet them and have patience for them.
3. They talk to their pastors, bosses, imam with respect, no nagging, they know what to do at the right time, but have a problem when it comes to their husbands.
The problem is not the MAN, the problem is the type of man a "HUSBAND" is, so he is supposed to ENDURE, TOLERATE all the rubbish behaviour thrown at him from his WIFE because he is a husband.
Learn to teach your female congregation how to be respectful and submissive in all ramifications to their husbands not telling them that their husbands must have patience to tolerate their excessive bullshittt!!!!

A teacher from Bungoma has gone viral after sharing photos of how he supervises exams.
The teacher climbed onto the wooden beams above the classroom and sat there watching students as they wrote their exams.
Students kept looking up in surprise as he monitored the room from above. With the teacher watching from every angle, cheating was nearly impossible.
The photos have left many people amused online. Some are calling him the GOAT of exam invigilation, while others say his method is a bit extreme.🤔🤔
What do you think??

One thing Canada taught me quickly was the importance of clocking in and out.
Back home in Nigeria, where I worked before relocating, we simply signed our names in a register when we resumed duty.
When I started working in Canada, I kept forgetting to clock in and out even though the app is on my phone.
Then one day it dawned on me: whatever I clock in is what I get paid for.
Since then, the first thing I do when I get to work from the car self i make sure I clock in before doing anything else. I don't want stories that touch.
Sometimes, the little workplace habits we overlook can affect your paycheque.
But back home, nobody get time to look register bcos your salary is fixed.

It is funny how society celebrates older men finding love again but questions older women when they do the same.
Many widowed women do not remarry because they prioritize raising their children, but that does not mean they stop needing love and companionship.

Sometimes the spec you are looking for may not be what will be good for you.
Marriage is not a boyfriend.

Jennifer will be 29 years old this year.
Over the past 3 years, she has been in a toxic relationship with a 34 year old man
At the onset, the relationship was sweet but after the first six months, it became sour.
Her boyfriend beats her at the slightest provocation. Sometime, she doesn't need to do anything to get him upset.
Her friends has advised her to leave him, but she's reluctant. She's scared of starting over, and still hope he'd change.
Besides the repeated slaps and verbal abuse, he cares about her.
Will you blame her for not leaving him?
Why do some women stay with their abusers?
