In UK and Ireland, The Simpsons has been airing on Sky One for almost 36 years. However after October 31st, it may seem like the show will be leaving the network as the show moved onto Disney+ for it's newest episodes while E4 has the airing rights moving forward

The Rugby League World Cup will be played under NRL rules, and England and France have added extra study sessions to get across them before kick-off. NRL rules the Super League sides don't use:
- 2-point field goals from beyond 40m 
- Seven-tackle restarts when the attacking team knocks on or kicks dead in-goal (Super League uses a 20m tap) 
- Full penalties for ruck infringements deep in a team's own half, instead of six-again anywhere on the field - Golden point will also decide any drawn match, so there are no draws at this World Cup. English referees Chris Kendall, Liam Moore and Tara Jones are in Australia and will also have to adjust. (via David Riccio, CODE Sports)
