Mostly energy, some other stuff as well. Chair, @MichiganPSC. The Commission speaks through our orders; views here are my own. Go Blue!

Like many others, I'm working to digest the full impact of President Trump's tariffs - particularly on the interdependent relationship between the U.S. and Canada (and more specifically between Michigan and Ontario). But it's clear these tariffs are very bad for Michigan.

At the end of the day, President Trump's tariffs will increase energy costs to Michiganders, disrupt critical energy supply chains, make us less resilient to other potential disruptions, and invite retaliation from some of our strongest trading partners.

It is, as @WSJ termed it, "The Dumbest Trade War in History." I'm not sure who wins in all this, but it's pretty clear that when it comes to energy costs, Michiganders will certainly lose. wsj.com/opinion/donald-trump…

Excited to see these new reports to further inform strategies toward the "vision of an integrated, transparent, and robust regional electricity market" in W. Africa under @ERERA_ARREC. I'm grateful to have played a small role in this effort, and pleased to see continued progress.
With @USAID & @PowerAfricaUS support, these two new NARUC reports aim to assist the West African regional electricity regulator as it works to achieve a transparent and fully interconnected regional electricity market. bit.ly/3VRUguh bit.ly/3RVGMfK
