I'm pretty sure there's a lot more to life than being really, really, ridiculously good looking. And I plan on finding out what that is.

SIR PATRICK STEWART (1940-2026) Before everything else, Patrick was defined by being born and bred in Yorkshire, the proud county in the north of England which he loved to the end. You could hear it in his accented voice and in the stern honesty with which he told you what he thought and felt. Yorkshiremen have no truck with half-truths or avoidance of big issues. He wore his heart on his sleeve, which made him a man to rely on, to admire and in my case, love. We first met as ambitious young actors with the Royal Shakespeare Company half a century ago but we weren’t in the same productions. My first strong memory was a few years later, meeting him in the street in central London when he told me about an offer to take over a leading part in 'Star Trek'. “But Patrick think of your stage career in the UK. Do you really want to risk—getting lost in Hollywood for years and years?”. Well, he took the risk and thank goodness for us all that he did for not just his devoted Trekkies but film and theatre audiences, who marvelled at his using international celebrity to star in a string of cinema successes ('X-Men' of course) and in great classical plays by Shakespeare, Ibsen, Arthur Miller, Peter Shaffer, Pinter and Beckett at Stratford-upon-Avon, in London’s West End and on Broadway. America was his adopted home, where he met his adored Sunny who has cared for him through sickness and health, through thick and thin. But he never forsook his origins: and the proudest achievement of the most respected and beloved actor of his generation on either side of the Atlantic, was his appointment as Chancellor of Huddersfield University in Yorkshire. His farewell performance in 'Avengers: Doomsday' is yet to be seen. Ian McKellen 29 October 2026 Photo: University of Huddersfield

My game is inspired by Effect and Cause from Titanfall 2, a game that today is having its 10th anniversary.

That is amazing.
I think it's genuinely funny that the mocap actor for Anderson legit PUNCHED Udina's actor in the jaw on accident, so it makes this scene more believable.

IGN China scored Phantom Blade 0 a perfect 10/10 and provided a scathing commentary on the Western game industry "In the foreseeable future, when Western game creators are stuck in a creative rut, held hostage by political correctness, and bound by highly industrialized commercial logic, producing one mass-produced, industrial garbage game after another , then let Chinese game creators teach them a lesson and make them relearn what a high-quality, content-rich AAA game should look like." It's kinda hard to argue when you look at the state of the games industry. Asian games and developers look to be thriving whilst Western studios are either facing layoffs or being shut down. #PhantomBladeZero #PS5 #PS5Pro

Kendrick had Crips and Bloods shaking hands dancing to him calling Drake a pedophile to an entire audience of screaming fans. There has never been such a complete cultural victory before this. this is Genghis Khan levels of hating.
We witnessed history, this was truly one of the greatest moments ive ever seen

it's not that sports is becoming kpop or kpop is becoming sports, but that both (along with politics, art, pretty much everything else in society) is converging on their final form: Professional Wrestling
a thesis could be written on how sports are becoming kpop

a hacked 3DS is the biggest do nothing console of all time. the most fun you have with a hacked 3DS is hacking it and thinking about all the games you're gonna play, but then you dont actually play the games

I'm so tired of people saying gaming is dying. Western AAA gaming is dying. Everyone else is fine. Nintendo and Capcom are putting out heat consistently and indies couldn't be healthier

It's shocking to me that people do not understand this. The movie is about Nathan being manipulated, not whether or not she is a good person.
fielder makes it very clear that based on all the evidence, he believes that she was and is still lying. the movie doesn’t seek to relitigate this, but to demonstrate that despite that, she was still able to manipulate him. and he found that fascinating!
