In 1928, @Cornell switched to Daylight Saving Time, but the city of Ithaca did not. From May 1 to November 28, the university and local community operated on a one-hour time difference from each other. It was confusing. (Daylight Saving Time was standardized nationally in 1966.)

Advice for undergrads: Don’t double major. Instead, take courses that teach you how to analyze data & how to write. Go to office hours and your professors will like you more. Grades don’t matter as much as you think, especially if you don’t go to law school, which you shouldn’t.
