I wasn't planning on addressing this publicly, but I feel it's important to set the record straight. Back in April, someone reached out to me asking for help sharing their story about disability discrimination in Colorado. As a first-time candidate who was new to the political arena, I had a lot of passion for helping people who felt they weren't being heard. I agreed to help bring attention to their situation because I genuinely wanted to make a difference. Over the following months, the situation took a turn I never expected. When this individual told me they had been using AI platforms to generate explicit correspondence involving me, I ended contact. I eventually blocked them and moved on. There was no romantic relationship, no situationship, and nothing nefarious going on between us. I offered to help someone share their story about an issue they said they were experiencing. That was the extent of my involvement. I genuinely hope this individual gets the help and support they need. I can wish someone well while also standing up for myself and protecting my family, my privacy, and my reputation. I'm not interested in a public back-and-forth or turning this into a personal feud. But when fabricated conversations are published and presented in a way that misrepresents my involvement, I believe I have every right to speak up and correct the record. I got involved in public service because I wanted to help people in our state. That hasn't changed. But I've learned that good intentions don't always lead to the outcomes we hope for, and sometimes the right thing to do is step away. I'm sharing this because I want people to hear directly from me rather than draw conclusions from material that does not reflect what actually happened. I've said what I need to say, and I'm moving forward.

While everyone is arguing over 87 and NN (both no’s), amendment 81 is vital to ensuring our local law enforcement have the ability to cooperate with DHS and federal agencies without fear of criminal or financial repercussions. Vote YES. 133, 134, and 135 are also no-brainer YES.

Voted in person today. Saw some folks come in to vo— wait, no. They walked in to get replacement mail-in ballots sent to their homes. So they walked in where in-person voting was happening to… get new ballots mailed to them…? 🤔

If you’re looking for something to attend this weekend, make the trek out to Windsor! It’s going to be a great night with plenty of quality speakers and candidates (including me). See you there!

Don’t take my word for it. Colorado has increased education spending significantly while enrollment has declined and outcomes have stayed flat or worse. Districts like Poudre are now looking at closing schools because they have roughly 10,000 empty seats. Look at the numbers yourself. I’d be honored to earn your vote for House District 53 and fight for our families in Colorado.

I say Yes on 81 because Colorado families deserve safer communities. Local law enforcement cooperating with federal authorities isn't just common sense. It's frickin’ common sense.

Debate between Hickenlooper and Mark Baisley at CSU. It’s always important to stay informed and educated on who we’re electing to represent us.

I do often wonder how many other elected officials and candidates that yell and scream about our water in the state practice what they preach… I know I do. #copolitics #colorado

We need to love Colorado more than we hate the people we think are on the other side. I love Colorado. Sometimes loving something means being honest about it needing to be better. Affordability, schools, and a budget that keeps outrunning what we can pay for are problems worth naming. Loving this state means saying we can do better and wanting positive change, then voting that way this election. Ballots are hitting mailboxes, so remember that!

Great experience at the candidate forum for both HD52 and HD53 - thank you to all who came out and sat in the audience! And of course, the sky was a myriad of beautiful colors that just added to it all. I love Colorado. And I love Fort Collins. Vote on November 3rd!

This is what we’re doing now? We’re just straight up lying? Neat. This was a group talking about the violence from students on September 4th. I don’t condone body shaming. If people DO want to donate to the campaign, feel free to do it here: secure.anedot.com/committee-…
Sexual harassment should not be the price women pay for choosing to serve their communities. I will continue to use my voice to demand a world where women don't have to live with misogyny and threats. To all women facing this, I see you and I will always stand with you.
