I never understood the concept of Novel November. Why would you rush your work? Why would you put the beauty of the process in a pressure cooker that lasts only 30 days? I worked on my debut novel for 3 years until I was satisfied. It's a journey to be enjoyed and explored.

Promoting yourself as an indie author isn't always easy. After writing a novel, you've got to turn into a marketer with thick skin.
