Unpopular opinion: Most founders I’ve seen successfully build 10+ person teams are people who were, or would’ve been, top employees at their previous companies.
They had already learned how to create value inside an organisation, how to lead, how to execute and how to build strong teams.
Not every great founder was a corporate misfit. Sometimes being great inside a company is what prepares you to build one.
Sometimes all you need to get to the next step is to follow up.
On the role you’re hiring for, with the investor you’ve spoken to, with the team you’d want to partner up with etc etc.
Just follow up.

"SaaS is dead. I can clone your product in a weekend."
Cool.
Now get the customers, too.
Ok once again I’m hoping to connect with more people within startups and Tech 🤗
I’ve worked around founder support/ops/hiring/GTM within startups, and hoping to connect with more people within the ecosystem.
If you’re working on something cool and new, please link it below as I’d love to check it out & let’s connect! 🤝😊
Is anybody building AI GTM or Sales tools?
Would love to have a look at ones that could actually streamline things (and not just email automation)
Getting early users and early feedback is much more important than founders realise.
So many end up spending all of their time building before actually validating if users would be interested
Genuinely how are people actually hiring nowadays?
I've just went through 200+ applications where a majority of the candidates had almost exactly the same professional summary, matched all of the criteria and requirements OR their CV had barely anything relevant in it.
Can't really justify having 120+ screening calls, how are people doing this when everybody is adjusting their CVs with AI to the job posting?
Can’t even try to gauge by personal projects when it’s non technical🫠
Marketing/sales is often the first thing founders drop when they get busy.
And then wonder why nobody knows about the company. 🤷🏼♀️
Hi X, I'm Daniela 👋
I work alongside a few different founders working on early stage projects.
I'm looking to connect with more people building in public, so if you're any of the following..
⚡️Startup founders
⚡️Builders
⚡️Developers
⚡️People working on cool projects
Drop a hi below and let's connect!🤝
Your first few hires matter a lot. Not just because of the work they do, but because of how much they change what you can focus on.
A good hire gives you back time to work on the things that actually move the business forward.

Getting customers is hard
Getting paying customers is harder
Getting them to pay again is the real game
“Cool product” is not the same as “I’ll pay for it.”
A founder I spoke to learned this the hard way after weeks of positive customer conversations and no sales.
Early-stage validation is brutal.
You don't need perfect processes at 0 → 1.
You just need to notice when the same problem keeps happening twice!
Security around AI and agents feels especially timely right now.
Here’s a call I recently had with Kwame and Jesse around the topic:

Had a good conversation with a founder about marketing.
One thing she said stuck with me:
“You can’t market a bad product, but you can’t rely on a good product to do all the marketing for you.”
Get it in front of people, see what happens, and track the numbers.
Seems obvious, but a lot of founders still don’t do it.
