The development of third space endoscopy in various areas of the body has truly changed the game for patients and their quality of life. Performed a Zenker’s diverticulotomy for a patient who couldn’t tolerate liquids. He’s now able to eat pizza. Truly life changing. #GITwitter #MedEd

Four years ago, I had the opportunity to learn from amazing endoscopists at the ASGE First-Year Fellows Course. This past weekend, I had the honor to return as faculty. Forever grateful to the mentors that allowed me to succeed, now is the time to pass it on! @ASGEendoscopy – at Downers Grove, IL

We are grateful to you @TomTielleman, as well as, @mulkimd, @DrEricGreenwald, #DrKalpeshKPatel and our other amazing faculty for devoting your time and expertise to our next generation. 250 first year fellows through the doors this weekend - more to come next weekend! #FutureofGI #Fellows
An absolute honor to serve as the course co-director for the @ASGEendoscopy First Year Fellows Course alongside @rmulkimd. We hosted 125 fellows this weekend and it's always so energizing to see the excitement and eagerness of the new fellows. Even more so, I'm so appreciative of all of the friends, colleagues, and mentors that gave time out of their schedules to help put on an amazing course! Very very thankful to my GI family 🙏🏼

Hear! Hear! We are so grateful to our physicians for taking time to train the next generation. Together, we advance GI endoscopy!
One of my favorite traditions each year is returning to the @ASGEendoscopy First-Year Fellows Course. It’s always a privilege to teach, but it’s even more meaningful when our own fellows are sitting in the audience. Watching them take their first steps into GI fellowship while having the opportunity to be a small part of that journey is incredibly rewarding. Congratulations to @ASGEendoscopy & the outstanding course directors @TomTielleman @rmulkimd for an exceptional program. These courses don’t happen without countless hours of work behind the scenes. Fellows - as you’re learning today, here’s one career goal you may not have imagined yet. One day, you may be back, not as a learner, but as faculty. Standing beside colleagues who have become mentors, collaborators, and friends. Teaching the next generation. Those opportunities often begin long before you realize they’re possible. Enjoy every moment. Your future in GI is just getting started.
