In 2022, we took a massive step forward by signing our very first VALORANT roster, laying the foundation for everything that followed.
From lifting the trophy at VRL DACH to earning the promotion to the VALORANT Champions Tour, our first year was one to remember.

SAKURA
The name we gave our Game Changers lineup, and they blossomed immediately. Within their first year under the FOKUS badge, they managed to get promoted into the VCT. Sakura is a huge part of FOKUS history.

Our first Ascension year.
A year with ups and downs, but ultimately, we qualified for Ascension through a great Play-in run.

Ibai Llanos has called out Riot Games after Movistar KOI's partnership agreement was terminated from the VCT:
"I kind of think the fact that Gentle Mates could come back to the VCT has been crucial for Riot because I feel like they made up any excuse to kick a team out so Gentle Mates can regain their slot...
They were relegated and lost their slot and I think they tried to kick out that team that deserves it most, Movistar KOI so Gentle Mates is in the league."

- Hass in der Szene bringt keinem was
