I’m always and forever looking for the bright side, but not always in the right places. I’ve genuinely loved this place, but…see my new profile for details
After watching #ACompleteUnknown twice in a fortnight, this morning’s privilege and thrill was seeing #BobDylan ‘s wonderful art at the #HalcyonGallery. A genius twice over!
Awoke…so that’s the day off to the very best possible start! Everything else is a pure bonus! Today’s intention: to see the wonder in all around me, for eg, I just noticed that the sky is robin’s egg blue! Wheeeee!
A friend said that she didn’t read #AnneTyler as her books are ‘too samey’
I thought ‘each to their own’ & do so again as I finish #ThreeDaysInJune & marvel at how she creates distinct perfect worlds in each novel
‘Sometimes I wonder if we all live on totally separate planets’
Feels like it’s going to be a beautiful day!
Good morning Saturday friends! Time to make a weekend of the, er, weekend!
Friday swings around again and the week, which came in like the proverbial lion, is going out like a little lamb! My cue to get myself into the garden for a long overdue tidy up! Next stop: Springtime! Have a fab day whatever you’re up to!
It was by no means next on my TBR pile, but somehow #ThreeDaysInJune is what I’m beginning today! It’s #AnneTyler for heaven’s sake, so it just can’t wait obviously!
Inexcusably late to the party, but deffo better late than I just spent the majority of the last few days dodging virtually everything so desperate was I to keep reading #TheTwyfordCode by @JaniceHallett ! Utterly masterful, riveting, fiendishly smart! LOVE is an understatement!
I wonder how far out of winter and safely into spring we’ll need to be before I stop feeling the urge to remark on how early it’s getting light/staying light in the mornings/evenings? Who knows, but it’s a pleasure in any event!
Made a lemon drizzle cake while listening to #RipleysGame (my fave Ripley novel), narrated by #StanleyTucci on #BBCSounds. If my cake is half as delicious as the drama, I’ll be overjoyed.
#SimplePleasures
Good morning early birds and welcome to the weekend! Still freezing cold, but Spring feels within touching distance! A happy, hopeful day to you!
Today’s all about love…and so is tomorrow and the next day and the next day and onwards and forever. I hope you have the loveliest day you can!
