focus on what i can control and let go of what i can’t change

This filmmaking journey has been nothing short of transformative. It’s been bittersweet, it’s been amazing — but above all, it’s taught me patience. Developing and writing this film took four years. By year two, I was ready to shoot, but life had other plans. I had to pause, take a step back, and trust that God was teaching me something deeper. Those extra two years gave me time to study, learn, and refine everything — the script, the vision, the plan. When the time finally came, the script was locked, pre-production was solid, the cast and crew were ready — and we went for it. Now, seeing this film being recognized — the festival selections, the awards, the genuine support from my peers and organizers — it’s surreal. It means everything. And yet, this is just the beginning. We’re ready for what’s next. We know what to do, how to do it, and we’re moving forward with even more passion and purpose. Let’s begin. 🎬♟️ @FoundationMov_
