A lot of the work is in the wallet:
- Register and manage masternodes entirely in Dash-Qt, no console commands
- Vote on governance proposals from the GUI
- Descriptor wallets by default, and migratewallet flows for old ones
If you run a testnet masternode, please upgrade. Then grab a couple of friends and set up a shared masternode together. Tell us what felt confusing, not just what crashed.
v24 has been a long effort, and a ton of work. We're really excited to get it out the door and begin proper testing and validation with it's deployment to testnet.
The release is building now, it should be published later today or early tomorrow.

The withdrawal limit now scales with the network, enabling much greater activity. The old cap was a flat 2,000 DASH/day no matter how much was in the credit pool. Now it's 15% of the pool per day, so it grows as Platform grows.
On privacy: mobile wallets got shielded Dash. That's a big step, but it isn't replacing CoinJoin.
We're making CoinJoin in Core better than ever.
The hard part of owning something with other people is always getting out.
With shared masternodes, anyone can leave on their own at any time, and principal only goes back to the refund address each person committed to at registration.
All of it runs in Dash-Qt. A wizard walks the group through setup by passing messages back and forth.
Changing reward addresses, rotating keys, and dissolving are all in the GUI too.
If everyone agrees to leave, there's no penalty. Leave early on your own, and you pay a penalty the group agreed to up front. All configurable, and decided by the participants.
The headline feature is trustless shared masternodes.
2 to 8 people can fund a masternode collateral together, in a single transaction. No pool operator, and nobody holding anyone else's coins. Rewards are split by contribution and paid straight to each person's own address.
We just merged into develop fully Decentralized Shared Masternode support! This is one huge step towards shipping v24 of @Dashpay Core and all the great improvements it has.
