Look at what has been done to the presidency. Look at how destitute this has become. Not only is the comment crazy but keep in mind they’re both also married.

The idea that USAID was some sort of massive money spigot that was single-handedly financing global left-wing conspiracy is the retard right's version of "cutting USAID starved eleventy trillion people to death" so beloved by the lunatic left.

NEW from me: Last year, Mark Carney set a goal to double Canada's non-US exports by 2035. Today, he's already halfway there In response to Trump's tariffs & threats, Canadian businesses, consumers, & even tourists are taking difficult steps to decouple from the US🧵

Remarkably poor ROI, comparatively speaking. Soros got a lot more for a lot less.
"Now do George Soros" Ok. Musk surpassed Soros' lifetime US campaign contributions in just 2 years

2/ Russian forces have made effectively zero net gains in 2026 at the cost of over 40,000 casualties per month since July and around 458 casualties for every square kilometer of territory that Russian forces lost.

Thisbis considerably closer to being a statement of fact than a joke. But we used to be much better at demanding that psychopaths we elected pretend to be normal.

Anyone who voluntarily runs for office is a stone cold psychopath and I think we should just embrace that.

Mr. Jones (2020) East/West (1999) The Way Back (2010) Chernobyl (2019) Pretty sparse, all in all.
Aside from the great "The Lives Of Others," can you think of a single *western* feature film since the fall of Communism that explores its horrors? "The Death of Stalin" (also great) is a black comedy. I mean a serious drama. What am I missing?

I'm now considerably more open to the rumor going around that Putin bluffed Elon with a threat to attack his satellites and Musk folded like a cheap suit.

It took a lot for me to finally be done with him. Dead children rationalized by mendacious sanctimony did the trick.
The really funny thing is I've always been pro-Elon. But he actually hurt himself and American foreign policy on this latest episode.

I underwent the exact opposite evolution. Term limits are very bad because whatever the evils of seemingly permanent incumbency they are less hamful than handing the power to unelected and unaccountable bureaucracy and lobbyists. Turnover of James Hackers empowers Sir Humphreys.
When I was much younger (like 17), I used to be against term limits because I was an absolutist that the people should have the ability to do what they want. Now, it's become very clear to me why it's good to be able to force personalities to turn over. Keeps power weaker.

I saw the most toxic shitpoasters of Twitter generation destroyed by end of word limits, blathering hysterical naked, dragging themselves through Truth Social looking for an angry fix, combover-headed boomers burning for the ancient heavenly connection to perfect rage-bait.
The latest Truth Social post from the president of the United States.

There's a certain amount of irony in the fact that since I've suddenly increased the amount of shit-talking about Musk, I'm now getting the usual experience of his simps storming my mentions... only I'm not because the notifications on Musk's twitter have been broken for 5 years.

My entirely unbaked theory is that it's another facet of a broader societal pathology. Everyone can obviously see the self-evident reality of Putin's horror and Ukraine's heroism. Naturally, it must be immediately inversely gaslit. No mainstream norm can be allowed to survive.

This thing with Putin is nuts. Where has the Putin ass licking attitude come from?

This is now a tricky stance for Musk, since he no longer appears to share that philosophy. Having made a deal to sell a service, he then reneged in a way calculated to inflict maximum damage on the customer, while keeping their money - apparently believing he has a right to it.
You have no right to his stuff

It’s a remarkable coincidence that SpaceX discovered and closed a “loophole” in a way that severely harmed Ukraine in the very same week that the White House had a dispute with Ukraine. Just astonishing luck that SpaceX lawyers got to the issue at the very same time by chance!
Correct. Using Starlink, a civilian commercial service, for offensive drone strikes to kill people has never been allowed, nor should it be. Starshield, a different system, is controlled by the US government. What they decide to do is up to them. Ukraine military violated Starlink terms of service and used it for offensive drone strikes to kill people. That loophole was closed last week. Starlink remains critical to the defense of Ukraine, as it is the only system that cannot be jammed or blown up, at least for now. Were Starlink to be turned off, the Ukrainian front line would collapse immediately. This is NOT a threat, it is simply a statement of fact. Starlink was also crucial to preventing Russia from overrunning Ukraine in the early days of the war, as all other means of communication were destroyed or jammed by Russia. SpaceX has done more to defend Ukraine than any private company on Earth BY FAR. That said, I have nothing but UTTER CONTEMPT for the virtue-signaling evil warmongers who push for endless slaughter and offer no realistic solution to the conflict. May you burn in hell. End of story.

I think this is a tiny bit more problematic, consequential, and poisonous than Vivek's toxic immorality of an ad - which was universally condemned (apart from the usual maggots). Let's see the reaction here.
Abdul El-Sayed blames Israel for the price of your eggs and bananas, even though he knows that higher grocery prices are only due to supply, energy and inflation factors. Shame on anyone voting for a candidate who uses Antisemitic talking points to win an election.

There is no such thing as an "uprising" in a democracy. There are rioting thugs who need to be taken down.
Seems like the French police have had it, the take down of the uprising last night on Parisian streets was pretty brutal
