You asked for info on drop rates, so here’s how it works: The new treasure this season is found in chests just like other items. Treasure drop rates from chests are constant since season launch and don’t vary throughout the day, except during Treasure Hours. Other than Gizmos, you can’t get the same treasure twice. Every time you open a chest in a normal match, here’s how likely you are to find the treasures: • 1:1,562,500 - Weekly Gold Outfit • 1:137,500 - Pirate Shop Access • 1:7,813 - Weekly Vehicle & Decal • 1:568 - Weekly Pickaxe or Backbling • 1:391 - Weekly Jam Track • 1:272 - Weekly Loading Screen • 1:127 - Gizmo (any) During Treasure Hours, including the one earlier today, these treasures have a boosted rate: • Pirate Shop Access: 1.5x • Weekly Gold Outfit: 7.5x • Weekly Vehicle & Decal: 10x These rates may be higher in future Treasure Hours. If so, we’ll let you know. For instance, during tonight’s 9-11pm ET Treasure Hour, Pirate Shop Access will be boosted to 2.0x and Weekly Gold Outfit to 10.0x.

Okay, let’s imagine someone who plays 24/7, sacrifices sleep, and is genuinely damaging their mental health just to find the Pirate Shop Token. The season ends, and they still haven’t managed to find it. Don’t you think they deserve to receive it through an alternative method at the very least? @EpicTofuChris I understand that playing this much is a personal choice, but seeing people, including KIDS, skipping school, neglecting work, and sacrificing their daily responsibilities just to hunt for this token is genuinely concerning. At this point, considering how many players have gotten it, maybe it’s time to simply reward everyone with the token or at the final days of the season. I’ve opened around 20,000 chests so far (THIS IS NOT OK), and I still haven’t received either the skin or the token. I’ve been playing for at least 12–18 hours a day since the beginning of the season. I know this isn’t healthy, but shouldn’t we also question why the game has become so addictive in the first place? Battle Royale has turned into nothing but Chest Hunt Royale. Winning doesn’t even feel rewarding anymore because the entire experience revolves around hunting for chests. Victories have become tasteless. 🫠

Fortnite players are demanding Epic reveal the odds of finding the ultra-rare Pirate Shop Access reward after days of opening chests Rumors claim it could be as rare as 1 in 700,000 chests, with a hidden system called “Clover” allegedly controlling the odds

Yo creo que los mogólicos que te persiguen por todo el mapa para que no abras cofres son bots puestos a dedo por Epic Games

ADDING MORE FROM THE GAME FILES ON HOW TREASURE HUNT PRIZES ACTUALLY WORK Prize table is DT_DelilahTreasureHunt_Prizes (build 43.00). 16 prizes total Pirate Shop Access is the only one set to PreRollOnly. All other 15 are AttemptPreRoll This means the Pirate Shop token is the only prize determined exclusively before the chest opens. The other 15 can be considered during the pre-roll but aren’t restricted to that phase Other prizes - 10 cosmetics (Major/Supreme): 2 gold outfits, pickaxe, back bling, 2 jam tracks, 2 loading screens, 2 gold car decals. One-time only. They drop from Treasure Hunt chests and get added to your account through a quest reward. - 5 Sprite Gizmos (Standard): Lucky Locator, Relic Finder, smuggler’s key, etc. Can be won multiple times, go straight into match inventory. Roll behavior - Prize roll is requested the first time a player tries to open a Treasure Hunt chest (or if destroyed before opening). - Roll finishes first, then the chest opens and drops normal loot. - Gold chest animation is skipped for Standard tier prizes. - No per-match limit in the files (PerMatchMaxAmount: -1). Server pools - Prizes come from pools with start/end times + StartingInventory / RemainingInventory. - Each week has separate RegularPrizes and PowerHourPrizes lists. #Fortnite | Thank you @dballen21
ADDING ONTO THE CLOVER SYSTEM CLAIM The screenshots show the original classes were named DelilahTreasureHuntCloverControllerBase (later renamed to drop “Clover”). “Delilah” is the internal codename for the Treasure Hunters event. They also show a live backend service called clover with endpoints for /prize-reservation and /prize-reservation/claim that run on the actual Fortnite servers. When a chest is opened, the game contacts this Clover service to decide and hand out the prize. That’s why the odds never exist in the client files. #Fortnite | Thank you @Egyptian_Leaker

Fortnite scammed everyone and stole our time- PLEASE READ THIS !! Pirate token rules so far: - token spawns only on certain lobbies (you can play a ton of matches with 0 odds the token is in your lobby) - once you get lucky and play in a lobby with the token it’s then a game of luck, you have to open the exact chest with the token in it out of the whole map - the prizes are in a pool let’s say 200 gizmos and will be given out during a specific time in the day until the 200 runs out then you get no more until the next window of time - this means they let everyone run around thinking opening chest could get you the token when in reality it’s not true. Only people who spawned in the right lobby can get the token, then it’s not even a random spin per chest.. the token is in one specific chest in the whole map… and bots open chests !!!!!!

• Gracias a @Egyptian_Leaker

Time for a lawsuit! I want you to think about this, when a company uses a sweepstakes giveaway, they disclose all odds and for all prizes. It's illegal to withhold odds, because the FTC requires companies to disclose that info to the public according to law.
Epic created a new system called Clover to hide the Pirate Shop Access Token odds 💀 It means they can change the drop rates without people knowing

We need a PITY SYSTEM for chests! 🏴‍☠️🎮 Opening countless chests and relying purely on RNG to get a Pirate Store token feels unrewarding and frustrating. Hey @EpicGames @FortniteGame, please hear the community! Give RT to sign this "petition"! 👇 #PityForPirateStore

Epic Games can actually get sued over how they're handling the odds with the pirate token in Fortnite. Number one is that they are LEGALLY REQUIRED to disclose odds of a prize. Number two is if Epic actually is randomly disabling the token, that's rigging and also very illegal.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Epic is not legally required to disclose odds for this free in-game chest drop (unlike paid loot boxes), and no such US obligation or easy lawsuit basis exists. forbes.com/sites/paultass… forbes.com/sites/paultass… x.com/FortniteStatus…
