Exclusive story from @LAmag as the Matthew Farwell's defense gets ready to begin presenting its case as early as tomorrow.
In the summer of 2024, as the FBI was closing in on Matthew Farwell, the then ex-Stoughton Police Detective wrote what a federal prosecutor called a "goodbye letter to his best friend," asking this his kids be taken care of.
Farwell ended that letter with: "see you on the other side."
Then, on July 5, 2024, Easton Police got a 911 call that a black GMC truck had plowed into National Grid pole head-on with such force, it split the pole in two. The truck's airbags all deployed in the one-vehicle collision that occurred very close to the ex cop's Chesnut Street home.
The driver? Matthew Farwell. He told responding officers slammed into the pole when he swerved to avoid hitting a deer.

“Over 20 times”? I requested 3x and the first time I lost audio immediately so I left and tried again where I lost it again and commented how the sound went out and then I said it was fixed and requested and the spaces ended. People would take you more seriously if you were at least honest
