If we can’t secure billions of dollars in cryptocurrency, what makes you think we have secure infrastructure that no one has ever cared about enough to harden?
They exposed an intentionally designed exploitable system that's setup to be abused by the people in power of that state.
They/them deserves to be in jail for trying to cover up this exploit.
James Edward O’Keefe, 42, and Cam Higby, 26, both face felony charges of unlawful voting and identity theft.

When Google takes over the world with their ai we’re going to say I remember when Google was a search engine
I did say we'd be releasing our models periodically...introducing Gemini 4 Carbon, our next frontier model.
Following Argon's release just two weeks ago, Carbon shows the pace at which we’re pushing the frontier, it ranks #1 on the recently updated v5.0 of @ArtificialAnlys Intelligence Index at 59. It also leads across key cybersecurity evaluations scoring 88.2% on SEC-bench Pro for finding vulnerabilities, 54.8% on ExploitGym for exploitation, and 71.0% on CWE-bench for patching.
We’re seeing significant improvements in long-horizon tasks even compared to Argon, and we’ve strengthened frontier safeguards.
As we did with Argon, we’re going to roll it out gradually + responsibly. Some trusted cyber defenders will get access starting this week. We'll be expanding it to more partners through our Fairwind Program, ahead of wider availability soon, so hang tight!

Think of it like bitcoin miners, they're spending a lot of money on hardware to mine the coins, once the coins are worth less their business model rapidly declines.
Same thing for spacex the compute is worth a lot now but will decline and they took on a lot of debt to acquire hw

How is it over, they're still here and not leaving?
This is so odd he's singling out a company when it's every tech company doing it.... Strange
.@VP: "There has been no company in the United States, unfortunately, that has abused this system more than Microsoft."
Microsoft laid off 6,000 American workers in 2025 after certifying that it could not find qualified American employees — yet the company was approved for more than 6,000 H-1Bs and filed 3,682 PERM applications, including nearly 1,000 applications for the same positions as the laid off American workers.
