Sat down with new @UConnMBB GM Charlie Stevens out in East Lansing.
Been a whirlwind couple of months Stevens since leaving @spurs for Huskies: got married, honeymoon in Spain, whole lotta recruiting visits/trips that have yielded impressive results.

He probably thinks he’s pulling a Bob Knight/Calhoun thing that everyone will laugh at.
Fails miserably. Those guys won things.

Why did Jacob Ross play instead of Elmer Dzafic on Tuesday night? Why does Dan Hurley like Michigan State, Tom Izzo so much?

Caught Hurley on way back to locker room.
On Mullins: "We thought about playing him in first half. He had three straight days of practice, so we shut him down to have him ready as long as no setbacks, for Purdue."
Hurley on play of his bigs:
"That wasn't exactly a (bleeping) Oppenheimer performance. Sorry, I wanted to get through the year without (swearing)."
I think I know what he meant by that.
Mullins was considered for tonight. Would expect him to play vs. Purdue next week, barring setbacks.
