What’s an idea you’ve been thinking about constantly?
Could be big or small, but something your mind keeps returning to.

Choose Your Own Adventure Books (and RPGs), combined with the learned musical skill of creation of things people liked from scratch, through a team of differing personalities/skills, became the DNA that, expressed, made me an entrepreneur/investor. Just realized this in 2019.

1. Fiat - Only the gov can print money, and the people pay for it via inflation.
2. Crypto - Anyone can print money. Battle royale, no rules, no mercy, good luck.
3. #Bitcoin - Nobody can print money, because digital scarcity is a one-time phenomenon (and Bitcoin is it).

BIG NEWS🚨
Minutes ago the State of Michigan Retirement System revealed owning $6,600,000 worth of #Bitcoin ETF as of June 30th, per SEC filing.
#BTC is up 8% since June 30th.
That is about $0.71 of #BTC per MI citizen.
I wonder when the state will 1,000x their allocation and go to $700 of #Bitcoin per citizen? 🤔
As someone from Michigan… boo yah on being ahead of the curve.
They got off zero.

Lake Satoshi is the real deal.
No BS. Pure signal. Relaxing vibes, good food.
There’s a reason it’s called a Retreat, and not a conference.
If you’re in or near Michigan, I highly recommend making the trip out to Lainsburg (just north of Lansing) and hang out for a day or two.
Bring a tent and a sleeping bag.

The quality of a relationship is measured by whether "cuts" inflicted heal to .99 or 1.01. All relationships of depth involve periodic cuts (wounds/disagreement). Cuts heal to 1.01 by repair and understanding vs. only healing to .99 by bypassing effects & no repair time.

Just got back from a week at the TED conference.
My biggest takeaway this year:
Becoming an interesting person with interesting friends beats becoming a rich boring person.
I met a lot of people who left money on the table to do something interesting and they were consistently happier and more enjoyable than those who optimized purely for wealth.

Everything in red is regulated in such a way that market forces don’t apply freely.
Blue lines are unencumbered.
JUST OUT: "Chart of the Century" Update through June 2024 based on yesterday's CPI report. A few observations:
1. The cost of Hospital Services continues to rank No. 1 and has escalated significantly in the past few years.
2. College Tuition continues to rise but at a slower rate in recent years.
3. College Textbook costs have been flat for about the last 8 years, thanks to competition and low-cost (or free) alternatives to traditional textbooks.
4. Increases in the prices of New Cars, Household Furnishings, and Clothing have accelerated in recent years.
