Kids dreaming of playing football at the college level remember everyone has to start somewhere. On Dec 18, 2013, a young man with those same dreams sent me the following DM. Tonight, @Joe_Burrow10 won the @HeismanTrophy - Dream Big, Work Hard, Stay Humble
Early morning hospital visit to drain more fluid from the body. This time 10.2 liters removed after 10.28 liters was removed 2 weeks ago. If you missed my GoFund Me here is the link gofund.me/19f39c57e
Here is the latest update on Dave. unfortunately Dave is unable to take phone calls or respond to texts as he’s still having issues that have him in the hospital. Extremely and dangerous low platelets counts along with having to have multiple blood transfusions just in the past 24 hours. From what we’re hearing he’s in for even more today as they have yet to reach the level they want before doing the procedure that was scheduled on Thursday. Thank you to everyone who has sent positive thoughts and prayers. If you have interest in helping with the GoFund Me, here is the link. gofund.me/daa70cc25
Major setback today as Dave has been admitted to the hospital, low platelets and needing another blood transfusion gofund.me/18ab4cd39

Great catching up with you today, Dave. I look forward to seeing you back doing what you do best…helping recruits succeed in college football and beyond. Sending strength and support as you fight cancer.

Great visit with longtime friend @CoachGregForest today talking football as he’s part of the building at new D2 state program @SSUBEARSFB out looking for playmakers. Thanks for the visit, lunch, swag, and taking my mind off my health issues for a while.

Long day today as we arrived at 7:45 this morning for 2 bags of chemotherapy but learned my hemoglobin was low enough we have to add a blood transfusion as well. So today an audible was called at the line of scrimmage to keep fighting ahead. If I’ve not said thank you for all the prayers, positive thoughts and support, Thank You!!! Without you I’m not sure what this journey would have been like and I know it’s just started. #BeatingCancerDaily if you want to give to my GoFund Me here is the link gofund.me/20248fb5c
