Big updates Polycarver-V3. People asked for new features and I managed to get most of them in this update. Some big items are you can now add connectors and draw splines directly on the mesh to cut you model. #polycarver #3dmodeling #3DPrinting youtu.be/G2EB4fAaDAY

My wife wanted a simple way to track receipts that didn't require a subscription or require being part of a larger system, so I made her a iphone app and figured I might as well put it on the app store. Its free, not subscription, no online, it holds all the data on your phone. You can backup to your icloud if you want so you don't loose the data if your phone dies and export the data out to spreadsheet if you need it somewhere else. You can read more about it here if your interested daverigdesign.com/finn and get it here on the app store. apps.apple.com/us/app/finn-r…

I ran another experiment printing footwear. This time instead of just multi-material TPU, I added PEBA to the mix to see if it would make a more supportive midsole and tried gluing on a separately printed sole. Even if you don't print shoes, the process might be interesting for your other projects. youtu.be/k3XtA4KGrGo

Slicers let you make flat cuts to your meshes, but if you need to cut a curve you need to go into Blender or some other 3d editing software. So I made a app that lets you just draw a spline to cut up your mesh. It's free to download and try out, check out the video to see how it works and where to get it. youtu.be/7G6voqHYV5U

Every wanted to make your own shoes? I try and make multi-filament shoes on a tool chaining printer but you could still use Morphlex on a normal machine to print in a single colour. It would probably work alot easier :) #3dprinting #3dprintedshoe #shoes #shoemaking #footwear youtu.be/1-wnsJPn5pU

Do you print large multi-part projects and hate dealing with seams before paint? I tried a different approach that made finishing way easier, and thought others may might find it helpful too. #3DPrinting #Maker #Cosplay #PropMaking #3DPrintFinishing youtu.be/eizuWcrJtYk

I designed this D20 die and had it 3D Printed in Stainless Steel by @PCBWayOfficial , I planned to fill in the areas around the numbers with coloured resin but having 2nd thoughts. What do you think? Add some sweet resin colour or keep the cold hard steel?

Ever have a print fail or have a terrible finish and don't know why. Same settings, same filament, but now getting bad results, the moisture level in your filament could be the reason. PLA usually doesn't suffer from this but if your using PETG, TPU, or other materials that absorbed moisture this may be interesting to you. youtu.be/m0hbRx6KM28

A while back I tested adding baby powder to UV resin to hide layer lines on 3D Prints. Now I’m comparing it to Pro additives to see how it holds up. #3dprinting #postprocessing #uvresin #babypowder #glassmicrospheres #fumedsilica youtu.be/n2jyaXVJil4

Seeing how far I can push 3D printing with this winch build. Printed in Nylon Carbon Fiber and there's also some CNC work making some aluminum parts. If you like mechanical builds come see how this turns out. #3dprinting #CNC #Fusion360 #NylonCarbonfiber #p12cf lnkd.in/gj9JzFkV

Does your cat need a fancy bed? This will show you have you can design and print one, or just get the file for the one I made. I made this for the elegoo #Printforpets event, beside the bed itself I do a deep dive on my design process in Fusion 360 and walk through the steps #3dprinting #catbed @Elegoo_Official youtu.be/NUQeSgI-8VE
