So after 19 months, Covid finally caught up with me, still, I have had all 3 of my jabs so feel confident they will see me through, anyone still not had theres please go get it
Very angry right now, seeing people in tears as last care shift, Supermarket workers come into contact with numerous vulnerable people from the community, dont see them having to be double jabbed. You cant sponge out your decision which left load to die in care homes.
Report by (CQC) this week have revealed how the pandemic has left health and social care workers “exhausted and depleted now will government listen ?, what is it going to take ? step 1 delay sacking of 30,000 care home staff on November 11th WE NEED HELP
Said my piece on @BBCSuffolk we need the government to help the care sector, please consider delaying the deadline for care staff to be jabbed till next year to get us over the winter. After 27 years in the sector I worry this will be the worst experienced in the sector.
So government to announce more measure for butchers to come in on visas, but not a single thing for the care industry, not sure what we are waiting for people to die alone I expect, hit the news and then maybe then something will happen.
It is clear the government want as many children as possible to have Covid, brining more immunity, the lack of infection control, masks, isolation, no mandatory testing is a sign schools are being used as an experiment. Sorry but this is wrong
Great operation at Gainsborough sports centre. Covid Booster done in less than 5 mins. Let's protect each other.
The Care Sector faces a winter battle, the government must delay the Double Jab for care home staff until April 22 or we face losing 40,000 staff from and already struggling sector. You got it wrong at the start of the pandemic listen to us now and dont make yet another mistake
Yet again social care the poor relation, funding for social care is just another sticking plaster, staff leaving in there droves, it needed a proper plan we have nothing, its going to crash, with the likes never seen before people left without care. Disappointed
@GMB @MartinSLewis took less than 5 seconds to find that, if i can find in 5 seconds why cant Facebook take it down
Today I asked a question at the Cabinet meeting of Suffolk County Council around its support for the care sector specifically around the Mental Health of our staff, we need to reform how we work with our partners to ensure our staffs mental health is a priority.
Going to do a tell all podcast soon, many aspects of the regulation of the care sector are frustrating and are based on personal opinion not fact. I feel i need to do this so others can see they are not alone. Watch this space
Disappointing to hear Suffolk lagging behind many places in Vaccine rollout @MattHancock what are you doing and why is Suffolk seeming like a poor relation to Norfolk and Essex ?
So much more needs to be done for the Social Care Sector, its on it knees, we need real investment not sticking plasters, it needs forward thinking a long term plan. Covid has left destruction in its wake, people are broken. Come on @MattHancock do your job and fix it

Spending my Xmas sorting BT Issues and getting nowhere, left a care home with no broadband all over Xmas. Want to pay our bills and cant access accounts! #shamful @BTBusiness @btbusinesscare
So government will not back down on delaying school reopening, so family cant see each other, but again I ask how can my son mix with 300 other children and then come home and interact with us no PPE ?, surely to delay would help prevent spread, its basic maths.
Time to have a rant, hearing stories of people in care homes being told to take down trees, not put them up, limit decorations, people have been through enough please dont take what is left of Christmas away from them. Fight back. They wont see most of their family as it is

Why is it I keep reading staff within the NHS are getting Flu Jabs whilst carers cannot get them, again we are second rate to the NHS, but its us that will be needed when people need to be discharged @MattHancock sort it out
