Our second new #FirstView article is by @DavidKieran2 at @CSUHistoryGP. The insightful article explores how, in light of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, Americans use veteran's mental health to make sense of wars in the 21st century. Read it here:

Here it is: my profile of Phil Gordon, Kamala Harris' national security adviser, with some thoughts on the "Harris Doctrine" and how Harris's foreign policy might--and might not--depart from Joe Biden's, particularly on the Middle East.

How about some weekend MAH reading in preparation for #July4 ? Check out "The Eagle, the Rocket, and the Moon" by @lgoldblatt and Richard Handler or "Support the Troops" by @DavidFitz84 for ways to think about patriotism. cambridge.org/core/journals/… cambridge.org/core/journals/…

We hope all of our U.S. readers are spending #MemorialDay well. Plenty of #history to go around, but we're happy to reshare @DavidFitz84's article about supporting the troops. cambridge.org/core/journals/…
This looks fascinating! Congrats to all. Can't wait to dig in.

Next five down on the pro reading list. Milne is one of the better AFP books I've read in a long, long while. @DavidFitz84 nails the immediate post-Cold War era. And prepping for my spring grad research seminar in history. @PriyaSatia is just superb!! Highly recommend all three.
