Word of the day... Perturbation: "a deviation of a system, moving object, or process from its regular or normal state or path, caused by an outside influence."
TIL that I enable perturbation in others; I am their outside influence.
I pretty much say "thank you" and return the wishes when someone offers kind sentiments for a holiday that wasn't part of my upbringing.
But @alexa99, you keep getting MORE intrusive and I'm actually offended, during Passover, that you want me to sleep in tomorrow.
@alexa99 please give me an option to turn off "by the way" and "did you know" prompts, and most definitely any holiday prompts like the one I'm responding to that remlnd me I'm in a religious minority.
People do that enough, I don't need devices doing the same thing.
It gets worse. Now @alexa99 is sending me notifications asking if I'd like to follow an author. I'm SERIOUSLY considering unplugging them (I have 5) & maybe selling them in 5 years as antiques. I paid for them, and for Prime. I don't need more advertisements interrupting my day.
Could you imagine the computer on the Enterprise saying "By the way, did you know [something irrelevant to the querent]?"
It would be deactivated.
Can @alexa99 please be so kind and STOP offering unsolicited annoyances?
I'm nearly ready to unplug. And I was an early adopter.

Twitter these days is like watching a preventable train wreck.
I'll occasionally watch, but I won't participate until adults return to the helm.

The difference between Dem run states and GOP run states.
Harmony is a still-point—that place where we experience peace—internally and with the universe. From this place of strength, we can change the world, because all our energy is available for commitment towards this end. The universe is an exquisite configuration of harmony.

As I continue to invest in my own Mastery, I've recently completed the ICF PCC assessor training for Professional Certified Coaches and also listed with them as a Mentor Coach.

This reflects the growing number of coaches who have worked with me specifically to acquire the needed mentor coaching hours to obtain or maintain their ACC certification, or obtain their PCC certification.

If you're interested in knowing more please message me. I'm here to help more people become great coaches or coach-approach leaders!
